Concept

The Stellar Quantum Accelerator, or simply Sunrise, is a gravitational assist system composed by two distinct objects. One is designed to accumulate speed to the point of disintegration, achieved through a breach manufactured by gravity forces, and another, capable of capturing said energy, safely relaying it to a solid object. Henceforth here called the Accelerator Unit and the Chamber, it is the relationship between these components that make the Sol Project possible.

Moving from the secretive technology regarded as Jump Gates, the Sol Project decided to take a step back. Realizing that so many scientists lived their lives on Sol, it was only just that we would allow them the chance to show us the path to our home. We believe to have found it.
During mankind's first steps onto space travel, the usage of the phenomena known as Gravity Assist was essential. Simply through of the acceleration of a foreign object through the passage inside a gravity well mankind was capable of going further and farther than their fossil fuels allowed them to. Now, the lesson applies once again, suggesting that it is mathematically possible to do such a feat.
The Sunrise, as we’ve proposed, theoretically synchronizes the gravitational pull present on gravitational wells, created by immensely large body masses, with the discharge that naturally occurs inside jump drives. Applying the known laws of superluminal motion and quantum mechanics, it suggests the amplification of the dislocation systems we have access today. In order to produce this effect, however, this mathematical system requires a paired interaction - one we have begin to call between units we call “Accelerator” and the “Chamber”.
While the Chamber itself is a complex energy relay that encapsulates the object desired to jump, the Accelerator itself is the system made up by a number of gravity wells and devices constructed with the purpose of tugging the ship towards non-relativistic speeds. With this proposed structure, a suitable configuration of planets and the information we have on Sol - the configurations observed throughout years have led to an approximation of it’s coordinate - the ship can break the quantum barrier and cross the known limits of space travel - therefore making possible to reach it.
