When recording, it all depends on your system spec and where it’s being recorded to and fps etc etc

Need to know all your specs

C.P.U.
RAM
HDD/SDD

etc

You can make shadowplay work, There's a way to trick it into running.

If you are going to use Shadowplay, you will need to disable your bloom if you are using Windows 10. Otherwise it doesn't detect it. There are a few more neuances and the last person who solved them that I know was @Antonio in specific.

As for your question, you really can't. Lately I've just stiched everything together on a video editor, converted it uncompressed (~40gb) and let youtube do the compression. The downside is that you need to have an ADSL connection and specify that you want your upload cap be bigger than your download cap IF your ISP allows it in your contract.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

OBS Studio defaults to recording at whatever your streaming settings are. Go to Settings -> Output -> Recording, change your Encoder from (Use stream encoder) to whatever encoder it is that you're actually using, and then set the bitrate to whatever the max you can handle is. If you're recording with an Nvidia card, congratulations, you can do something insane like 50 Mbps NVENC and get great quality video with no slowdown because Freelancer uses next to no GPU time.

Retired, permanently.
