Cortez Assault

Gallic Royal Navy & Intelligence vs Bretonia Armed Forces, CR & Liberty Navy

Overview:

Date: Saturday May 19th 2018. 18:00 UTC

Location: Cortez

Premise:

After establishing a foothold in Cortez in hopes of cutting the supply line between Liberty, Bretonia and Coronado, GRN deployed the Carcassonne to guard the system and serve as a launching point. As Cortez became one of the highest priority targets to the Royal Navy, they began by sending a large fleet there. It has finally arrived and is ready to leave from Carcassonne. Their target is clear - assault the trade lanes and Curacao to disrupt the fast travel, and then secure the jump gates. Hostile forces are aware of movements of such a massive fleet and have prepared to defend Cortez at all costs. If Gallia gets its hand on it, it would be a massive economical hit. They assembled at the planet and are moving to intercept them. A massive fleet fight is about to happen.

// Since GRN has a smaller playerbase than all the factions that can shoot it in Cortez, I'll kindly ask to look at the current status of balance before registering another counter-GRN ship. Also, the sun corona only starts doing damage at 3k. Even though the fight seems close to it, it shouldn't impact the fight.

GRN, GRI, CR, BAF, LN, LSF are preferred, indies are welcome. Official Council is allowed due to the indie ID not having ZoI. If you wish to bring your BPA, LPI, Forlorn, etc. you can but you'll be put in as a reserve.

1. Standard PvP rules apply.

If you're killed, you're out. No returning to the battle again.

2. No running away from the active battlezone.

Once you leave the fight you're forbidden from rejoining. That includes resupplying.

3. All loadouts allowed.

Self explanatory.

4. No running into the asteroid field or sundiving.

Events are made to be as fair as possible so do not leave the battlezone to hug asteroids or draw the fight into the sun intentionally.

5. Register to participate.

Non registered ships will be asked to leave. Registering helps us keep the fight fair and fun for everyone.

6. No NEMPs.
