Allright...yesterday and today i had to wake up people on the skype chat only because this situation is repeating many times.
I know lawfuls have the need to "protect traders" and "uphold RP" and "keep the criminal population to a low as possible level". But if i cant log on a rogue bomber and leave base, only because a BC and a BS are camping the field, then must i remind them that the unlawfuls RP too and both the unlawful/lawful side need to balance their actions not to make the experience bad for the other.
I mean...seriously. Jesus cryst guys. I, like a few others do not look for pvp when getting on our greyhounds, we simply want to fly around a bit, taunt or something, maybe pirate a little. But every time i log on, there is at least one (Censored bounty hunter guild player faction) suddenly popping in system, at least one (Censored bounty hunter guild player faction), a (Censored Independent bounty hunter player group) or two, then two (Censored Navy player faction), a (Censored Navy player faction), a few (Censored Navy player faction) and, to make it worse, a few indie capships that all wish me my death. IT IS IN RP AND LEGAL i KNOW but cmon...
WE UNLAWFULS DO NOT LOG ON OUR CHARS TO DIE FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT
Yesterday i had a friend of mine flying about, we pirated a trader, all in RP, he RPed back, everyones good. Suddenly, (Navy player faction)'s jump in and go hunting. Everything is in RP, we retreat. would be nice and dandy....except we notice that they are an avanger, a havoc, a GB an indie RC, and another few indies...you ask how? Well...they were right near Alcatraz depod by the time we fled from there to Texas. Allright...so the RP has gone from RP to pure WE WANT TO PEW PEW concept. Not good guys. So we fled to Hudson to stay there for a while, as we were there, a few indie unlawfuls (most probably undocking from Alcatraz) died to that pack. By the time we saw that cali was finally clean and we could go back and call it a night, the pack was already in Texas. Thanks a lot, killed a few indies and now hunt us down again. Excuse me for not dying before.
Only today i had undocked with a friend of mine, we had a barghest and a greyhound. Instantly we see four or so navy faction players pop up and form a group in NY, ofcourse we did not flee as there was no RP explanation our chars knew about them in RP. Soon, after that...what did we see. A Guardian, liberator/avenger and TWO caps. A cruiser and a assult BC. No...after we got reinforcements and mind i remind you, calling someone on skype only because we are about to get pvpraped and need help is NOT a nice way to start a day, we understood it was not worth it. We turned around and loged off.
For the last 5 hours, i cant be bothered to get online as there are at least one tagged cap and two untagge ones in cali and i have a feeling that if i press undock then i will die.
If this was some kind of message that says "Now you will think twice before you pirate someone" Then you can be frigging happy since it worked. I am now afraid to play on the server.
If i must log off every time i get on my char, i will say that there is no more fun in the game. With that said, i will tell you NO names of players or faction tags involved, as those who were there today and yesterday know who they are and do not need a reminder to their person.
WE come here to HAVE FUN. YOU come here to HAVE FUN. Getting spammed by ten lawfuls on your bomber only because red is dead is NOT fun.
I would have not minded if said players would give at least SOME rp text...then yes, i would be somewhat less pissed off. Thank you for ruining my day, navy and police, have a good one.
Alas, this is true, the LR activity is going down as a result of not being able to do what it is they signed up to do, pirate. Texas and Hudson are not worth the time anymore, hardly anything goes through Kepler or Galileo.
The only place to actually get a decent flow of RP and piracy is California. But two LR- tagged folks log on and we get a slew of Navy and LSF appear and we either run or die. The forces brought to fight us are always massively overkill, and it disrupts us being able to play. Adding to that the lack of RP, today my Gunboat was yet again attacked with one word "Engaging", you know who you are and if it happens again there will be repercussions. I turn around to make a fight and the next thing I know I've got a cruiser and a BC inbound to deal with one GB.
Come on folks, my guys want to play this game too.

It has gotten a tad out of hand last time I saw. Criminal players need fun too, without them, we lawfuls have no fun! If I stray too close or go into the Badlands, with the Sentinel protocols kick in, or my sensors malfunction, forcing me to fall back.
I never camp or wait in places near criminal bases unless something is going on.
On the flipside of this rant (Sorry Sindroms) I am sick of Hacker Gunships camping the West Point California Trade lane, nearly once an hour or so, there is some sort of gunboat class vessel sitting there. In my Liberator that was a total pain with no back-up and lag. That kind of urged me into the Gunboat realm, its a pain to re-learn.
There is never a balance between the Liberty Lawfuls, end of. Some are always on more than others, and sometimes we are both as bad as each other when it comes to camping or PvP'ing.
But in the end guys, common sense please, we all join to PLAY and HAVE FUN! Not die and log out...

But, Fletcher, we are only bombers and HFs. even not VHFs but HFs. You dont bring a fleet to whipe us out. And we are trying to control those indie Gss even if the term is called "Turf wars" or "You are pirating in my spot, outcast"
Mjolnir, The Rogues operate almost exclusively in Liberty, we have bases out in the borderworlds, but those are for supply and bringing members of the Outcast alliance together to a central meeting point. Not much happens out in two sets of those borderworlds, and we leave Magellan to the Hackers. Sort of an unnofficial handshake agreement. Plus with the new treaty this problem will start occurring in the two independent systems worth a damn anyway.
And as Sindroms said, I will not ask my Rogues to RP somewhere else, because other folks want to PvP us out of existence.
Fletcher I cannot be held accountable for the actions of Indys when my faction s not around with them. This is occurring from factioned lawfuls as much as from Indys. But you will never find my Rogues on the West Point - Manhattan lane. It's a spot to await the inevitable PvP response. The LR- are a pirate faction and we do like to pirate from time to time.

It happens on both sides, trust me. I eventually did away with this character because I was getting capspammed to death and actively hunted every time I'd show my face. Plying my trade in Kepler actually brought indy Navy there hunting for me. If it wasn't gunboats, it was Raven Claws outfitted with 4 launchers looking for a 'fair fight' with my Sabre. "Come on, fighter vs fighter wanna pvp" was some of the stellar RP I got.
A certain BH faction known for their missile boat spam were really bad for this for a while, even putting a private bounty on me after I refused to lie down and die for two of their missile gunships and three of their fighters.
When I had an indy Navy guardian, I got a lot of the same from the other side. If it wasn't all gunboats, it was lots of "unorthodox" ship choices with heavy ordinance solely for the intent of popping vanilla ships. Zero roleplay involved, just the urge to kill lawful ships for the sake of pvp.

As the only official bounty hunter player faction, I'd hope it's not any of our members that are making it uncomfortable for you. PM please if so.
I'd also like to remind lawfuls that we pirates are the reason your jobs interesting. Without us, you'd sit around Manhatten in your million dollar capital ships bickering with each other because of boredom. But the way you guys are acting of late (particularly with the recent rise in Dreadnaught presence) is having a very negative effect on our activity. It has become a habit of mine to check the online list before I log in. I won't even bother if there are many caps online.
I believe this is the very reason the LR once removed their tag in the past. We are being hunted for our colours.
"ZOMG Rogues in Cali. Bring out teh cruisers!!"
