I've been working on getting the freelancer rep... and I messed up.



Both my BH Guard and Zoner Guard reps are really high. Since I fly a Firefly (working on an RP freelance-trader), pewing guards is probably going to be next to impossible.

Are there any suggestions from the community? Where does one go from here?

EDIT: To clarify, I do want an FL tag.

EDIT(2): I currently have Zoner tag.

The only thing i can suggest is start purposely canceling missions ... it lowers the rep of the respective factions, but doesnt screw with the rest of the factions

Example - Find bounty hunter missons ... take mission, then cancel the mission.... BH rep goes down

I suggest that you head to a freeport, go into the bar, cheat at cards and then pew pew regular zoners and their depots; that'll sort out both zoner and zoner guard reps pretty quickly.

Screw that. Start over, it'l take you less time to work up the money and get the rep back to what it was, unless you want FL tag.

Shh. Everyone shh please.

Now, here's what you will do.

Just continue doing what you've already been doing, get the FL rep to maximum.

After that, just take a Xeno bribe, and every other rep except Zoner rep will fall down to neutral/friendly.

After that, only the Zoner rep will be maxed out, and for that take some BH missions, that will lower your Zoner rep.

After that, only the FL tag will be maxed out.

There is a chance you will gain a BHG Guard tag, if you do, just go to their guard system and kill 3-4 guard NPCs.


Also what Canon said will lower your FL rep. Killing Zoners lowers FL rep. BH missions take care of Zoner rep best.

Swift, will doing all of that have any affect on my Zoner guard rep?

If you don't want to (or can't) kill BH Guard, go to Sheffield Station and blow up the Bounty Hunter crates just outside the station. It will lower your Freelancer rep aswell. Another Bounty Hunter bribe or two will take care of that though, eventually you'll get it right.

Underdog, I still would have to lower my Zoner rep. I think doing that would actually raise my Zoner rep if anything.

Then make sure to lower the Zoner rep before blowing anything Bounty Hunterish up:)

Killing Lane Hacker NPCs lowers Zoner rep for some odd reason. Don't know about Zoner guard though, but I reckon...
