The Great House of Kusari, following the stabilization of the aftermath of the Republican crisis, has set its eyes back on the path to progress and improvement of our noble nation and House. Among the works that recent administrations have pursued, it has been found that a bright opportunity has appeared for the industrious peoples of Kusari to shine and bring onward their values and virtues to the uncivilized regions of space.

With the blessing of our August Emperor, Kogen Tetsuya of Nara, the House of Kusari will put its efforts in creating a new home for Kusarians in the recently christened Shizuoka system, known until recently merely as the Sigma-21 system.

The Government has authorized the creation of the Shizuoka Colonial Commission, which will oversee the development of the colony of Kagoshima and the space encompassing the system, under the guidance of the Kishiro keiretsu. I have word that they have already settled terms with the Gas Miners Guild in establishing a joint partnership that will benefit both entities in the region.

We hope the Shizuoka Colonial Commission announces the great success Kusari wishes, and the result of the settlement of this new addition to our House.

Samura has received this announcement with some hesitation and we feel the need to respond to this ill thought declaration to spare the possibility that you intend to take the Empire of Kusari down this dangerous path.

Samura does not accept your premise that Kishiro is the best company to facilitate this colony as they lack the assets, ability and experience afforded by Samura Heavy industries. Having a long track record for running efficient and long lasting colonies in our portfolio, we believe that this was a poor decision on your behalf and urge you to reconsider before you cause resources to be wasted following this fools path.

We must also point out that it looks like this has been done to appease Kishiro’s allies in the Gas Miners Guild. An organisation that is currently holding stolen Kusari property from us. They have attacked and killed Kusari citizens and continue to flaunt their nose at Kusari when ever afforded a chance. It is important to realise that this show of weakness on Kusari’s behalf, in first failing to respond to such aggression, followed by this poor attempt to appease them, will be seen and recognised by any that wish to do Kusari harm that the current government lacks the resolve to protect their own people and will continue to cower as they have done in the recent past.

Samura Heavy Industries, as directed by our founder Masamune Samura, has a mandated duty to the people, house and government of Kusari, in that order. We will continue to uphold this mandate. As such it must be known that Samura will move forward with efforts to develop the Shizouka system, and planet Kagoshima. For this endeavor we will continue to cooperate with Kusari law, but will not be dealing with the Shizouka Colonial Commission nor accepting oversight from any Kishiro controlled organisations to limit our possibilities.

We suggest that Kusari take this moment to increase pressure on the Gas Miners Guild to return that which legally belongs to Samura, the largest corporate supporter of the Kusari people and let them know proper consequences for their continued aggression towards the Empire of Kusari. And remove them from any and all possible involvement in the Shizouka system. Samura Heavy Industries looks forward to the day when the government of Kusari will choose to stand by its own people and greatest supporters. Until then, know that we will be waiting for you.

My friends and I disturbed by the silence on this matter.

It would be unfortunate if any Kishiro employees were without their due portions of Rice. Indeed, that may compromise the success of this whole endeavour.

If the people of Kusari cannot directly help in this matter, Maybe Samura, who are already good buyers of Kyushu Rice, would be better placed to provide the technical support required.
