Mostly directed to Xoria now, but to the other admins to a lesser extent. Also, if you're a Corsair or think you're involved in any way, feel free to post. This ain't a sanction thread.

Now, despite what I may or may not think about this predicament, I resent both the Benitez and the Brotherhood being told that we can't continue with our civil war against the HAF.

I appreciate that all of the HAF are actually in the Bastille, and so we can't actually fire upon them anyway.

However, declaring the civil war over doesnt wash with me. Both the OPG and the HAF are the ones being punished, for whatever reasons I have no information on. As I saw, the Brotherhood and the Benitez Famillia have no part in this sanction. Hence, delcaring the civil war as "over" is not fair on us (whether actually true or not, due to extenuating circumstances). We don't wear the HAF or OPG tag, and we take no responsibility for the actions of the people within both of those factions.

Please correct me if what was said was not meant in the way that I am taking it.
Alternatively, if there were infractions by the two official factions as could be implied by your post, please clarify this.

PS: To all: I will kick your butt if this becomes trail by forum. Alternatively, I'll contact dusty to sweep away any unwanted material.

a good civil war is a nice thing to have ( in a game, that is of course ) - it offers exciting situations, doubt, intrigues, alliances and very surprising incidents.

all that refers to a cleanly RPed civil war of course - you might think of a civil war, where everyone is a friend - where you go out and drink a beer afterwards, telling each other some thrilling warstories.

from what i gathered though... the war wasn t faught fairly anymore, but went up a level that wasn t entirely in RP anymore - hence, it needs to be stopped. a civil war that is most certainly within RP and even within canon RP of a "nation" that is led by a council of rather war mongering chiefs.

mind, i don t know to which extend it became a personal vendetta of both sides that reached beyond whats acceptable in RP - so i cannot comment on the actual matter...

but a civil war within a faction, no problem with that.

It's been expressed that the Civil War has gone beyond any pretense of sportsmanship or roleplay at this point. It's gotten ugly and the admins are sick of dealing with entrapment sanctions.

It's also their call as they dictate what does and does not happen.

To that end, this thread will not be closed by the issuing of flames and like blather. Rather the individual will feel bad times, not the discussion. Keep it constructive, this is a good chance to voice your thoughts. -DL

I am Aurelio Benitez and i'm not entirely sure why they are prisson neither is alot of the of the corsair players. From my angle the coflict seemed ok, now i heard that there were a few little bit of rule breaking form each side, but nothing that would really warrent this kind of action. Like Jinx said the RP was good,so could you clear up as to why this has happend?

thanks

Imprisoned because a few members of both factions were making underlevelled chars to entrap sanctions.

I feel it should be allowed to go on after this entrapment sanctions *snip* is dealt with.

More then enough RP ha been stopped recently due to complications, and if this RP can be set back onto the right track, all the better.
