As a player who is still relatively new, I know my way around, I know about most of the story behind Disco. I'm still trying to pick up a few things. The biggest. Reputation.

I would love if someone could put up a reputation guide. How to earn rep with certain factions, a guide to bribes. I'm trying to build rep with the Zoners right now for example, but I can't. Its impossible. The other hard part is knowing how much Rep I need to purchase certain pieces of equipment. I wanted to buy the Fury 5s from Freeport 6, and I can't. But they sell other guns to me.

Reputation is confusing me.

It confuses many people.

You should be able to purchase a Zoner bribe on any Freeport. Be sure to try for a double. (e.g. one where there are two people offering a Zoner bribe in the bar)

Also note that the Commodity Dealers often have people selling bribes with them...

having just made a Zoner character, lets see if I can explain it a little bit.

Now starting a brand new chracter I flew to Freeport 2 in Berring. Tried for two days to find the double bribe, to no avail. Then soneone mentioned it helps if you are friendly with seom of the others in the bar. I took the BHG bribe and boom got the double bribe within the next 30 minutes.

You can also shoot Zoners till your rep is one ot two blocks under dead center, any more and you'll be banned from the station. That far under center can nab you a tripple or quadrupal bribe, witch maxes out your Guard fation also. The key is making sure other folks in the bar that are not zoners will also talk to you. So you may have to take a bribe or two that are not zoner first before you'll find the double+ zoner bribe to get your zoner tag.

One note. Not all freeports are zoner owned. The one in magellan is not zoner. But Freeport 1 in O-3, Freeport 2 in Berring, Freeport 5 in O-41 and the Planet Gran Canaris in O-49 all should have the zoner bribes.
