But that is not why we're contacting you today. For further construction we require 40,000 cargo units of Hull Segments. Our company is offering 80,000,000 credits for the completion of this contract.

Having read you Communication, dated 18-11-825, I am here to negotiate the Requested Deliveries .

You are requesting the Delivery of 40,000 Units of Hull Segments and offering an overall payment of 80 million Credits.

Having 'crunched' the numbers, I feel that what you are offering is a little light.

Let me break this down for you. 40,000 Units at a price, from the Vendor, of 500 Credits per Unit, comes to 20 million Credits. This leaves 60 million Credits to cover the Deliveries.

By my reckoning, this will require at least 17 Deliveries to fulfill your requirements.

So, with that said, here is my counter offer. If you can up your offer to 88 million Credits, (this will cover the 20 million Credits for the initial purchase of the Goods and 4 million Credits per Delivery) I am sure we can come to an agreement.
