I thought of something entertaining that could provide as entertainment for us PvP whores without affecting RP at all really. Something for mercs, Freelancers, whoever to do in their freetime.

If you haven't watched the show you'll have no idea what the hell this tangent is about. But anyone who was watched it gets what I'm offering. We should have those two headbands as a commodity (only one of each, obviously). Providing an interesting little side thing in the freelancer universe.

In reality it kinda fits RP as there are crazy things like this that people believe in or spend their lives on, i could no doubt see this kind of "peoples quest for greatness, or godlike/famous stature" thingy happening in space.

I've actually been thinking of the same thing. Let's do it.
Doesn't even need a commodity, keep a thread in the 'events' subforum, with a "CURRENT NUMBER 1:xxx, CURRENT NUMBER 2:xxx" and to claim the number 2 spot, ya gotta post a kill screen.



And for anyone who doesn't know the show:
There are 2 headbands, the Number 1 headband, and the Number 2 headband. The holder of the Number 1 headband is considered the best fighter, and isn't allowed to be challenged for his headband by anyone, EXCEPT the holder of the Number 2 headband.
The holder of the Number 2 headband however, can be challenged by anyone.

Could also have people post up bounties, to hire other people to get the number 2 headband for you. All in all, great silly fun:P

We should make the rules...
Fighter/bombers only,
engagement notice rule doesn't apply (whoever has the headbands agrees to this) so that people can ninja kill you, without giving it away
