Many of these words in the recend days were used not towards Gauls Royalists, but Kingdom of Bretonia. In the last few days Omega-49 became an unspoken battlefield and symbol of fight for independence as Zoners were forced either to flee or to stand up and protect their homes against the invader. It all began with a massive nuclear explosion around area known as Tombstone Estate. Doc Holliday, known in Liberty mostly for his indiscriminate medical support, not seen to the public since then. It is unknown if such a great person is missing or dead. Some vocal members of Zoner community even blame SIS to rig bomb on Gran Canaria.
It raised a lot of questions on why Bretonian Armed Forces manifested open letter to Omega-49 in which they stated they want to forcefully annex the system. From a victim of war, The Crown seems to be the very same monsters our valiant soldiers fight against in New London and across entire Bretonia. Ever since Bretonia barred themselves with a law that made their own government and military untouchable in terms of civil action, there were voices about lack of democracy and lawfulness within Kingdom of Bretonia. The recent statement which is open declaration of war towards Zoners of Gran Canaria - and sign of occupation of one of these few worlds in Omegas that we can call true democracy.
Citizens of Liberty are concened that allies of their own government acts against democracy and independence. In a short interview to INL, Zach Xander - member of Crayterian Quorum and Crayer Military Fleet Admiral - commented that Republic stands against such a diplomatic faux pas and does not support Bretonia annexation of Omega-49:
"What you heard is, sadly a truth. As Bretonia's home system gets ravaged by Gallic Royal Navy, instead of efficiently using every last asset they have, Bretonians turned their eyes on the only remaining independent planet, governed by peaceful people known as Zoners and specifically, Omicron Supply Industries, and decided to annex the system and brutally, almost barbarically and like a tyrant, invaded the planet Gran Canaria. I do not know the exact numbers of Bretonian assets within the system, however we have civilians residing and conducting trade within the system and taking visits to planet. From what i got reported, only a few hundreds of thousands reside within Canaria and rumors says Bretonian assets there are millions right now."

Xander also stated that Crayter Republic is already undertaking medical aid and support to anyone who suffer Bretonian attack on Gran Canaria. The refugees are moved to colonies on Borneo, Pecos and Yuma - with or without allowance of the Crown.
Meanwhile in Liberty, Amnesty Interstellar has already declared plans for peaceful protests around Bretonian embassy on Planet Manhattan. Activists from Sirius Peace Group are speaking about their own protests in the orbit of California Minor as expression of disdain towards Kingdom of Bretonia.
