.I got an idea regarding the matter.

A special type of equipment that requires x1000 SCI DATA other ingame accomplishments that deals percentage damage to the target POB in let's say 30 minutes or so.

Let that equipment consume semi-expensive batteries as well. If such a thing was implemented the pros would be;

-No more sleeping on your right click button, the system will be automated. It might look like it's less effort for the siegers, but it will be more expensive!

-Attacking a POB is no longer a chore. Well, it still is. But not a boring chore like ironing. Attacking fleet can patrol the system, start RP, organize further while waiting for their anti-pob weapon's cooldown to go off.

-Attackers no longer run and log their actual pvp chars because their heavy battleships and siege turrets are useless in pvp scenarios. With this every ship can be siege viable.

Now I know nothing about FL Modding so the possibility of such a mechanic is unknown to me. I dunno if such a thing is thought of either (it probably has been tbh) but i'd like to learn at least the reasons why it didn't come to life.

The real solution is to just delete pobs.

a core 4 or 5 is difficult to build, if a base is annoying, destroy it before core 3 or 2

it's easier to destroy than to build without JD transport

ex: if you see a small corsair base annoying for you, advertise them and try to destroy it! but if you attack a core 4 or 5, it's different, you attack an old thing who is probably well protected

it's my point of view

i'm sure that it can be fun, but in this case, it's useless to build something(i know pob destruction, i have destroyed my core 4 after 5 years) the sirian's people like the POB if you destroy all, the people will leave disco. it's a risk
