No I'm legit worried because it seems like Gallia just keeps closing in on New London! Is this it for Bretonnia or can the Gallic fleets be pushed back?
Given the development of the war and excluding the recently included conditions - Bretonia has more chances for winning the war. Gallia is exhausted, her forces stretched over two fronts at best, and, let's be honest - the New London blitz is a last desperate attack at the end of which only one side will be still standing.
And nothing except another weird plot twist will change this.
Gallia is overextending, they've got the council wrecking them at home while they're trying to push into new london past their supply line range. Bretonia made a stupid move trying to annex omega 49, but liberty is now fully backing their defensive line against the gallic onslaught, which has pretty much ground to a halt.
I think we'll probably see gallia's offensive start to crumble, and they'll have to pull back at least to leeds. They're fighting on three fronts right now (council/maquis from behind and at home, crayter/outcasts in the taus, and liberty/bretonia on the front line), and they havent exactly made any friends to help them out, sans the corsairs who really arent in a position to help anyone IMO.
With any luck, the council will win on the home front and overthrow the gallic crown, forcing all the GRN assets deployed to the front line to stand down or go rogue and become gallic exiles. Perhaps following that, the council running gallia could work on patching up relations with the rest of Sirius and establishing more trade with gallia.
