While performing a routine flight, I found myself a bit lost in the swirling inferno that is labeled "Omega-2". My scanners locked onto a convoy of Guild transports and I followed them, expecting them to know the route out, or at least to safety. Idle chatter commented about a freelancer being hostile and supporting the Bretonian forces. With how screwed up that system makes everything, I could hardly even register the convoy. I took this transmission to mean that another ship, or ships, had come who were in support of Bretonia. Not wishing to stick around, I followed the convoy until to the safety of the Omega-7 system. It was at this point I thanked them, only to be told I was a Bretonian supporter, and fought with them in the recent conflict around the shipyard a system away.
I could understand if the convoy itself was being skittish, but they quoted that the Guild's reports have marked me as a combatant on the Bretonian side. I wished to see this corrected at all possible. Yes, I was at the conflict at the shipyard however I was against the Bretonian forces. I announced as such even, and opened fire, working to keep their fleets pinned down as well. I mostly supported the Hessian crafts however, assisting in the fighter combat.
I hope this was a simple mistake and will be corrected.

Understood. I am currently docked at the nearby Freeport, however will not come close to the current warzone and avoid any conflict until this matter is resolved.

We've received conflicting reports on your involvement in the conflict we are currently embroiled in within the Omegas.
As our pilots report, your ship had been seen assisting the Bretonians in their assault, but it's entirely possible that this was a misinterpretation of the situation, given how chaotic yesterday's battle was.
If you really were on our side in the battle, the Guild owes you an apology. Any freelancer who joins our cause against the Bretonian aggression will have our gratitude, and of course, appropriate payment.
I see and can understand. The conflict is arguably more chaotic than the system I was stuck in. It is easy to confuse what is going on, even with the most advanced targeting systems.
Payment, if oh so wanted, is doable. I intend to stay in the system for the time. My aim was focused on primarily the Bretonians, but having spotted the Core vessels my own personal interest is peaked. Should I rejoin the conflict with one of your defensive assets nearby I shall inqure further then.
