The second Hogosha Racing Syndicate event is scheduled to start on Wednesday 24th April at 19:00 UTC in the New Tokyo system.

No entry fee, the prize for winning the event is at least 50,000,000SC.

This is not a race! Format:

• Competitors will run in pairs, any individuals will be randomly paired up with a partner.
  
• Competitors will be scored on Style, Precision and Speed (each out of 10).
  Style: How much flair and individuality your runs show. This can also include your ships characteristics and any lighting/fireworks(guns).
  Precision: How closely and synchronised you and your partner can fly. How well you can fly through the Kanto asteroid field.
  Speed: How quickly you can complete the run or distance covered.
  
• There are two bonus zones - the Kabukicho Depot and Shinjuku Station.
  These are each scored out of 5, based on style and precision.
  
• The runs will begin at the Kyushu jump hole, and end either when the pair return to the Start/Finish Area at the Kyushu jump hole, or when one of the pair is heavily damaged.
  
• Spectators and competitors are free to try and disrupt your runs by any means necessary.
  

Hostile factions may also send their pilots, and the HRS promises to not fire upon these pilots in the 30 minutes prior or following a race except in self-defense - however no guarantees can be made for the automated station defense, or other pilots.

Note, due to gun fire and possible disruption to the shipping areas in New Tokyo the Kusari Lawful Forces may not be in support of this event.

Rules:

• Any fighter-class vessel is permitted to compete.
  
• Participants are not allowed to fire upon the [|]RS adjudicator or Hogosha bases - this will result in an immediate disqualification and ban from future events.
  
• Any faction is permitted to compete, including hostile factions, provided they do not show their hostilities prior to or following the event.
  
• An event may be a single race or a series of races dependent on the levels of interest and audience at that time.
  
• Cruise disruptors, countermeasures, mines, guns and contact are permitted throughout the course.
  
• Entry to the event is at the competitors' own risk.
  
• If your vessel is heavily damaged, if it can be repaired in a timely fashion you may return to the event.
  
• The winner of the event is awarded at least 50,000,000 credits
  

You'll be judged by the experienced pilot Keiichi Tsuchiya.

No fee or entry required - you can just turn up and race, but we'd appreciate you register your interest below in order for communication and advertising.
