TACTICAL SITUATION : the Council, emboldened by its timid advance in Picardy, has grown reckless. By attempting too daring a strike against us, they have exposed their heinous den of iniquity within Sirius : the Roussillon system. The Montmorency and her escorts have already breached the area, and skirmishes are already occuring between our forward forces and the Council vanguard. It is clear the rebels are desperately vacating the system... And bringing in something. Unless that is new, royal blue-and-gold carpeting for Toulouse, it needs to be stopped.

DESIRED FINAL OUTCOME : secure the Roussillon system and prevent the Council's escape.
PRIORITY 1 : Incapacitation of the Pamiers battlegroup.
PRIORITY 2 : Neutralisation of as many Council agents and population as possible. Arrests are preferable.
PRIORITY 3 : Interdiction of all hostile traffic to and fro Roussillon.

LOCATION : Roussillon, Provence, Tau-44.

PREDICTED ENEMY FORCES : Outdated flottila and irregular elements. They are desperate and on their own territory, however, and not to be underestimated. Threat level is estimated to be medium.
REQUIRED ALLIED FORCES : the Montmorency, after having been dealt critical damage by the very same Council while in Orkney, is now at the forefront of this operation, ready to take revenge. Possible reinforcements from Gallia should the need arise.
TIME : the offensive should be completed by the 8th of Juillet.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT : The Chancellery has been clear about this : Gallia will not tolerate further vexation from the Council. Full spectrum conflict is authorised. The return to peace and order in Gallia starts with a devastating, brutal defeat of the Council on their own turf, at the heart of their demented, manipulative utopia.
