Underspace (New Freelancer like Game)

Oooh have you guys seen this game? I just saw it on the Freelancer reddit page and it looks very very Freelancer like.. and it's already made it's target funding too!

Can't see any physical boxed copy tier (I'm oldschool haha) and I've had mixed results with backing Kickstarters so I think I'll just wishlist it on Steam for now.

This is Pastaspace, the guy who made and managed the /v/lancer mod. While I would totally love a new space sim game, the fact that most of the art assets are basically redos of freelancer makes me wrinkle my nose. If it was a fan project sure, but asking money for it is a bit much.
