When an event is capital ship heavy kills are often stolen. An unearned blue message. I'll admit this post is fuelled by a bit of jealousy but also a concern for fairness.
I've been apart of many capital ship heavy events and fleet fights in general and regardless of who put in the most work, The person who got the last shot in got the score and or credit.
People valuing that blue message too much is a topic for another day but if score was tallied by damage dealt over all for capital ships/capital ship heavy events then maybe people could get the credit they deserve. It'd also create ship class targeting to an extent. It might shut out smaller classes of ship other than BC's and BS's as Saurissimo has told me but I think it could help out players new to the cap scene as in cap fights the last hit isn't what matters. It's the consistency of how much you can hit them. I could type more as my mind degrades but I'd rather end this here.
