Hi guys,

Quick question, is there a way to toggle the cockpit visibility (i.e. when in cockpit view toggle the actual cockpit on/off) with a keybinding rather than the main settings menu?

Thanks

You can alternate between cockpit view or normal view
Once youre in cockpit view, if i understood right, you cant hide/show the cockpit, the cockpit always appears when in cockpit view.

You can hide cockpit in the option settings.

My apologies, then yes, you can hide the cockpit. Just go to options at User Interface

To my knowledge, there is no keybind shortcut to show/hide the cockpit.

Do you think it would be possible to mod a keybind for that?

I'm not going to do that myself but yeah, it definitely would add some convenience in my opinion.

I guess it would be possible, though I'm not really qualified to confirm anything. If the disco devs would be willing to add something like this into the game's option menu is a different question.

Well, given that it would be possible and that they have the time and/or energy to do it, I don't see how it would be an issue?

It's not easy to do. I had to do something very similar when I was modifying the volume control with a custom slider I designed. To be honest, it probably wouldn't take me that long to implement this, but any time I spent on it would be too much time spent.

Could it be macroed through an external program perhaps? If so, would there be any issues with such a setup? I'm thinking along the lines of AutoHotkey, Deckboard, HID Macros or something similar.

I just find it really tedious to have to go into options and deactivate/reactivate whenever I want to switch.
