Rapture Project

I wish to congratulate you on the progress with the Rapture project. Your promotion and voting status in the Order Overwatch is just a token of our appreciation for your duty and opinions. As it is customary for all flag officers sooner or later, at earliest convenience upon conclusion of the project’s intended goals we are intending to issue you command fitting of your rank.

However, my purpose is not just notifying you of your perks and responsibilities. It is about the hulls RX 1 and RX 2. Due to fast tracking of negotiations with the 5th Fleet of Liberty Navy, we are in a situation where we do not have sufficient crew to man them at the same time. Keeping in mind the estimated arrival date of the ‘products’, RX-1 “Armageddon”, it is the decision of The Admiralty Board that it will take priority as already combat capable vessel in its own right. It is our further directive to press this vessel into service as trainee ship for shipment and officers to gain experience and skills necessary to operate super carrier. The RX-2 “Apocalypse” will need to undergo further works, as specifications sent to us by 5th Admiralty provides only the basic hull, armor and core with components and subsystems we are not able to replicate ourselves.

Attached to this transmission you will see list of Cadets and Ensigns fast tracked to promotion due to their aptitude, coupled with the reports and recommendations from Collister’s Officer Academy. Your picks will assume junior roles, with more demanding departments and bridge staff granted to career veteran transfers from other Battlegroups. You will notice that there is no mention of a Captain. I cannot think of a better person with right disposition to take this ship on its maiden voyage under Overwatch’s banner than yourself, Colonel.

From my end, works on OCV Zagazig are proceeding as planned. Any nevralgic examples of The Order’s technological ingenuity had been stripped or replaced with older equivalents. Considering that most House capital ships in relative peace time have estimated lifespan of a few centuries, they will be getting pristine quality Osiris hull more than able to match any and all of its contemporaries in a straight up combat should they so desire.

Hail Grand Admiral,

Your words do me honor sir, I will endeavor to live up to them.

Regarding RX-1 and RX-2, RX-2's progress surely exceeded expectations,
using RX-1 as a trainee vessel to get our personel up to speed on handling this class of ships is an excellent idea.
With RX-1's recent arrival in Omicron Mu all that remains is refitting it to suit our needs and repairing the damage
it sustained from its journey. Once those are completed we can start training sessions without further delay.

RX-2's further construction will take time as you said,
using this time to train our troops will ensure it will have the capeable crew it needs to truely shine once it is finished.
Once RX-2 arrives I suggest we reach out to our allies once more to get the construction done as soon as possible,
their aid for RX-1 was indispensable and sped up the process significantly.

I have received the attachment and will carefully pick what I expect to be the rising stars for our junior roles on RX-1,
the experience should prove to be thoroughly unique as to my knowledge experience with this class of ship is a rare commodity within the Order.
As for the captain position, I will make sure to bring glory to the Order and keep
humanity safe to the best of my ability with this opportunity. Neither myself or RX-1 will disappoint.

It is good to hear the work on the OCV Zagazig is proceeding according to planned, it will need to be ready for RX-2 to proceed.
The changes taking place will ensure a believable alibi on both ends, which will hopefully further cement the cooperation.

RX-1 is currently en route to our most secure system for the retrofitting and repairs, I will send the list of choices before we arrive
