The end of the Second Gallic war saw the birth of a new Gallia, reformed, transformed and above all more open to the world of Sirius. With the end of the war, the Gallic Navy, helped by strategic and economic experts, have recently addressed the problem of establishing a new economy and spreading the Gallic influence in the rest of Sirius.
Although a stable trade with houses seems to be taking shape, Gallia is looking for new allies and a space rich in resources where the asserted presence of other houses would be negligible.
The fantasies and reports collected on the Omicrons have largely attracted the attention of military and political leaders. It is with this in mind that the Marine Nationale created la Division Gauloise des Omicrons. Its objectives are as numerous as they are ambitious.
This Division which currently comprising several hundred men, from gunboat captains to logistics teams; aims to establish and assert the Gallics Core Values in the most hostile region of Sirius.
THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Establish a permanent operation cell: Despite the enormous distances between the deeper Omicrons and Gallia, la Marine plans to build a solid cell located in Omicron Delta. With its quarters close to the area of operation, la Division can take initiative on its own.
Exploration of the deeper Omicrons: It is a priority to have charted the main systems of the Omicrons. It is impossible to mount anything if there is no detailled map of this area.
Find new potential allies and build diplomatic relations: Essential mission. La Division cannot succeed if it cannot receive help from external entities, especially in such dangerous space. Gallia is aswell in need of new friends.
Find new resources and exploit them: Despite being a very rich sector in ore and other resources, Gallia doesn't have everything. La Division has to locate new resources and bring them to Gallia.
Establish a safe trade route between Gallia and the Omicrons: Economic and strategic aspect. La Division will receive new ships, armaments, fuel and wine from this route.
Expension of the CORE GALLIC VALUES: Certainly the most important mission!
--PROJECTED RESOURCES
La Marine Nationale and the Confederate Forces in general are aware of the importance of this operation. That is why they allocate many resources for its success. At the current time, La Division Gauloise des Omicrons has access to a wide variety of ships.
The agressive section of the Division is composed of fighters and bomber squadrons. While they don't represent an excessive number nor a huge firepower, they are the elite and know how to adapt to any situation. Some gunboats are as well deployed to offer them a decent protection.
Logistic assets have been deployed. These are Gallic Train and Gallic Armored transports. Time will say if they are adapted to the dangerous Omicron space.
It is very likely the Marine will allow more resources in the future depending the results.
--TRANSMISSION CENTRE
The primary communications network of la Division Royale des Omicrons has now been established. All reports of various degrees of importance are to be transmitted through this centre towards the intended recipient office.
The Division has established new contacts with several organizations of the Omicrons. The main communications are listed below.
These datas have been collected throughout the execution of the Division's operations.
Thanks to the Order, the Marine has gathered valuable knowledge of the Edge Worlds sector, with successful exploration of the main system. The following datas are classified and require the approval of a high ranked officer to be shared with any exterior entities.
Red Path: The main road for our vessels attempting to reach the Omicrons or return in Gallia. This path requires the approval of Kusari as our military vessels must travel through their main Core systems.
Green Path: Secondary road. It goes through restricted Kusarian space: the systems of Chugoku and Tohoku. This road has the advantage to reach Order Home directly. Only realized with the help of the Order.
Blue Path: Secondary road. Extremely dangerous as the vessels need to travel through the Outcasts space. Only realized with the help of the Order.
ooRP note: All the systems on the maps are known by Gallia inRP, including Alaska (reference here). The only exceptions being Major, Iota, Psi, Phi and Omega-58.
As part of the logistic assets of the Division, I successfully reached the Omicrons sectors abord my Armored Transport "Taureau" class,
MNG|TL-Chat_noir.
Departing from the Abbeville Production facility, I went through the jumphole appeared in Picardy to reach Omicron Theta, first step of the travel, where I encountered a squadron formed by OCI and Order assets. I then set sail to Freeport 9 where I was welcomed by the station Administrator Sun Koken. Considering the high presence of hostile ships, and upon request of the Commandant Pierre Vaillant, I was escorted by OCI ships guided by an Order member. We passed through Omicron Kappa to finally reach Omicron Delta and the Ennibeck Spaceport, where I am currently docked.
My ship carries fuel and tech parts :
- Oil : 600 units
- Liquified Petroleum Gas : 400 units
- Energy Field Equipment : 300 units

Our situation in the Omicrons is clearly better than expected. At the current time all our ships are operational.
Regarding the situation with the locals, we had the opportunity to experience the conflict between the Core and the Order. The latter as promised welcomed us in Omicron Delta. Yet we don't have visited their protectorate yet but this is only a matter of time. The Zoners are not worried of our presence. Some even like to learn the Gallic language !
The attention of the Division was mainly focused on Delta, Kappa and Theta. The major issue encountered is the logistic. Our transports suffer a lot during the long and dangerous travel. When they reach their destination, they often need to use a part of the oil they brought to the Division in order to return in Gallia. The Theta anomaly clearly appeared in a critical situation and the anomaly allowed us to plenty reinforce the logistic. Sadly only for some hours.
Nevertheless, the Division currently has enough oil and materials for at least two weeks. Our transports brought back to Gallia a large amount of Iridium and they will continue to do so.

The Division is in the Omicrons for more than a month already and the results sound promising. Our cooperation with the Order has been very helpful and several organized convoy has been made between Gallia and the Omicrons. This allowed us to discover new roads to reach the Omicrons. These information will be detailed un the coming days.
Meanwhile our transports continued to bring a large amount of valuable resources to Gallia.
The Aurora has reached Omicron Mu during a convoy with the Order. The Liner will start research, exploration soon. As well it will be one of the command ship until further notice.

The Parisian Assembly has expressed the Marine to organize a special convoy. Its destination is Omicron Gamma, the very home of the Corsairs.
A transport escorted by an elite squadron is about to leave Gallia in the upcoming minutes. The cargo is valuable as it contains Luxury food, and excellent wine. The great Gallic cuisine.
This operation has a great diplomatic and strategic signifiance. Failure won't be tolerate.
