Jaypate's Mega Thread of Many Things (GC Edition)

So, considering recent events after a recent patch I thought it'd be good to make a thread for 3D shit like everyone else seems to do. I'll have a list of the GC ship-line below with their names and current state. When they're towards being finished there'll be a shiny new P3D link for you ogle the ships with while rapidly spinning them around like an Aspie.

GC Shipline:

LF - [Lily] - (Complete!) : [Only LODS remain to do. Mesh: https://p3d.in/54NHI]

SHF - [Magnolia] - (Cancelled) : [After some discussions it was felt that GC, and tbh Kusari as a whole don't suit SHFs that much, may be re-opened
for SRP purposes in the future however.]

Gun Boat (Heavy) - [Lotus] - (In Progress/Hiatus) : [Link Pending]

I have other factions I've been tasked with reworking/ fixing, their stuff wont be posted in here when i get down that queue, they'll have their own shiny new mega thread when it comes to it.

Now i can already see a few questions heading my way at terminal velocity so before they hit let me answer a few here:

Q: Will there be anything from the current models carried over?
A: No, not really, the only thing that may remotely stay the same is the Orchid, because it works, and changing it too much in terms of shape may fuck with that. Devs had enough trouble balancing the Iris it seems, so im gonna try and cut them some slack.

Q: Oh hey the Old Blossom looks pretty cool, why not use that?
A: Because its old, and far too big for where it sits now. It needs a new one.

That about wraps this up so far, I'll try and keep updates somewhat regular once i get the ball rolling with these, just waiting on a few things before hand while i try and balance out Uni Work too.

I'll mostly be working with both GC| and GC- throughout these for feedback as these are for them first and foremost, though feedback from outside of that is also welcome.

Seeing how initial Iris model was utterly ugly i wish the rest was never developed - or given a much more thorough effort.
Still beats me how it got approved and implemented the way it is.

If your hoping to see something entirely new for it your mistaken, the majority of these tweaks are for balancing purposes to preserve DDal's sanity

The base theme and look will be much the same, with a few extra curves.

I've got quite the queue to get through, somewhere between 3 and 4 different factions and 2 of them are reworks like GC. Now luckily, when i have time on my hands I get sh!t done quick, so the majority of the queue will prolly be finished through the summer. its just Uni is killing me rn.

I may be able to take a look in future, send me some ideas my way and I'll take a look
