Disco skype assistance channel

Alright, I asked mwerte and he said there wasnt anything out there like this so I would like to propose the following:

A skype channel for all the new players joining the server who have questions about anything, we could also use it to ask general questions that have short answers (all disco related obviously). Obviously I dont think this would be the most productive way for an admin to spend their time but I think a group of experienced players could provide a lot of assistance. What I do not want to see happen is answers to be given that can easily be found on the forums, new players need to familiarize themselves with the forums as much as possible. I will also not let it become a spam chat, I will leave and declare here it is a lost cause if that happens.

So is anyone with me or does any new or new-ish player want to sign up?

Sounds good, I would do something along the sides of 2 experianced players from each other.

One from the unlawful
and one from the lawful side.
For Liberty, Kusari, Rheinland, Bretonia.

For the Omicrons and what not i would have one from the OC, one from teh Sairs and one general one.

Just my couple of ideas.

Well since no one is answering me I will start doing updates here. So far we have 4 people who have said the will stick around to help. Already the issue of certain software programs that read freelancer files has come up, as I have informed every one in the channel these programs cannot be discussed on this channel. We are continuing to encourage use of the forums for questions that cannot be answered easily by anyone person or when we are not certain of an answer.

First off, you should realy have asked people wether they wanted to be into it. When I saw it pop up in the middle offa 1-1 against an Osiris, I wasn't 'lolzing'. Secondly, most Discovery members get Skype after a month or so of being on it. So, I don't realy think this would help the 'new blood', unless they know of it via via.
