Ok there is a simple solution to how to make AVG 8.5 work on Vista, while letting you play on the server.

Just do this:

While installing, take custom instalation instead of typical/express, and when you get prompted what things do you want to install, make sure only "Avg Free for Windows" is checked, and everything else disabled. The rest are just addons and are useless, but cause computer to work slower and often block internet conenctions.

Once this is installed, update the AVG, and you will be able to play the FL.

Aargh. Wish I knew this when the last AVG update left me locked out of Disco.

Cheers Tic!
