The Noble House of Kusari, after years of turbulence in the past decade, has finally, together with neighbouring nations near and far all over Sirius, enjoyed a brief respite of war and the soothing healing touch of peace.

However, in this period of peace, there are those who still toil in the name of evils both old and new, and such propagation of evil knows no rest.

Our Government has been informed that evils like terrorism and the degeneracy of the values that hold the House together were brought from abroad, and that organizations like the Sirius Coalition and others try and try again to corrupt our Nation and lead our people into disharmony.

Through valiant efforts of the Kusari Naval Forces, this threat has been contained. But this is but a wake up call, a call to vigilance and steadfast determination to keep our House safe, to keep civilization a bright beacon against the evils of the world.

With our borders in the Sigmas restored and peace returning to Rheinland and Gas Miners Guild territories, our sight turns to the Tau region. An area wholly devastated by one of the longest wars in recorded Sirian history, only recently it has begun to return to normalcy.

But, in the eagerness for this "normalcy", comes the complacency of security forces and civilized centers. Gallia and Bretonia reel in from their wounds, and the opportunists and small time mercenaries who aided them turn their sights from scarred battlefields in the planets to greedy visions of exploitable corporations and black market smuggling routes. Crooks and criminals who sat on the sidelines waiting for the storm to pass, now spread their pestilent wings and roam freely in the Tau cluster, extorting men and exploding machines to their pleasure, without care or concern for law.

With the blessing of our August Emperor, Kogen Tetsuya of Nara, the Kusari Naval Forces will with the aid of their comrades sail forth to the Tau cluster, and restore order through a punitive expedition.

We will scour the routes that link us to the other Houses, and enforce a long lasting stability in security and commerce for all peoples of good virtue to enjoy.
