Event Background.

---

While launching a daring operation together with the Crayter Republic against the Nomads and their infected ilk, the Order seizes the opening made to launch an expedition towards the moon of Jericho to once and for all investigate the rumored wreckage together with Crayter scientists.
Due to the heavy radiation the science expedition will have limited time on the surface before they have to return to the Atum, making every second count.

The Nomads and their pawns, distracted by the offensive into the Drake system as well as by their own retalation strikes into Coronado, manage to scramble
a small wing to try and bring a premature end to the science expedition. Detecting the incoming nomads Battleship Atum scrambles its defensive fighters to protect both itself and the expedition.

As you may have noticed the first post after this is reserved, this is where we will post the outcome of this player event as well as hint towards what comes next depending on the outcome.
This means which (player made) follow up event occurs depends on the outcome of this event.

General rules.

---

Standard PvP rules apply. Registration is mandatory. Stay in the fight, no restocking, no running to hug solars.
Equipment rules - no SHF, no Dual novas bombers, no Cloaks, no NEMP (glorified flashbangs).
Location: Coronado E7.

All Crayter, Order and Nomad (In all their variations, including infected) IDs are eligible for registration.
Other registrations are allowed as long as the ID's make sense but will be considered reserves to fill out the slots as needed.
(feel free to motivate your registration if it isn't conventional, as well as for which side you wish to fly)


Additional slots could be added if both sides would have enough numbers. Feedback is welcome.

Event Outcome.

---

The Order and Crayter Republic defensive line intercepted the Nomad Strikeforce on their approach,
a battle broke out as the two forces met which each side seemingly evenly matched.
Halfway through the fight however something occured in the Drake system, perhaps as a result
of the combined operation of the Order and the Crayter Republic though details are currently unknown.

The Drake system as a whole disappeared, cutting the Nomads off from their possible reinforcements.
With the connection severed the strikeforce became disoriented and the defensive line gratefully made use
of this to take them out with only a few casualties.

Having been able to secure the operation site the Order research vessel Prometheus was able to make it planetside
through the harsh radiation and perform their expedition within the safe amount of time.
Valuable data, among others, has been recovered from the planets surface though exact details remain classified.

Suffice to say that the scientists will have plenty to go over for the foreseeable future.

Unlike my usual events this one had no objectives, that said both sides fought diligently.
