Following David and Ben example here goes is my feedback thread.

I think it's about time we chat about these three systems which have been heavily modified/created by yours truly.

When discussing them keep in mind - they are meant to be tough in all senses and were designed as such from the very beginning, both Iota and 99 are guard systems and represent topmost tier level.

Please, try to avoid clear spoilers as regards hidden Unknown system for the time being.

I am biased, because i use that systems -alot-. All I have to say is that that few systems are most original and most awesome systems in whole Sirius.

Also, base modeling is unique and awesome as well. Tradelane effects , AGAIN unique and awesome.

I agree with all my predecessors. But to add a little constructive critisism: 99 somehow lacks something. There's not much but the cloud surrounding the Ravine. And somhow I'm always wondering why there is only this small shred. Jota is stunningly awsome, but 99 can still be improved a bit. There simply needs to be more.

I wondered if there should be something extra that encourages players to go towards altair. (non-nomad ones) instead of just looking, but that is not just another codename, something along the lines of nomad powercell in
O-58.

Would make for some extra RP opportunities for the order.

Very nice systems, with all the custom stuff etc.

HOWEVER, if I try to look at it in FLE... Things show up weird (lots of zones/atmospheres are at weirds places). Even in game, things can show up weird on the nav map.

Indeed, there is a reason to go there actually. Once you are close to it open your radar loot section list and look out for something interesting in it and I am sure you will find. It isn't codename, but at least something for the time being, and back then was probably the best thing I could have put there without causing any issues all around. Later I'll try to come up with some special roleplay commodities which could be found in certain places and/or dropped from certain NPCs.

Well, we all know that FLE is very limited, so I didn't use it at all, instead I have created the systems in 3ds max and used a little maxscript tool I wrote to export parameters into usable game format. This has allowed me to get around numerous shortcomings of FLE but as a result the systems are not editable in it. The limitations apply to FLE, but not to FL itself, which is why in-game everything is fine. Don't save systems in FLE, instead use Notepad++ or any other safe text editor to find out how things were made.

Originally I wasn't intending to modify Omicron 99 at all. Just thought I could add bits quickly seeing as 4.85 got constantly pushed back. Perhaps if I knew when the version was going to be released I might have done a lot more to the system.

Omicron Iota was the first system I modded for Freelancer, pretty much it's my first try at those things.

I havent seen 99/iota since 4.85 released, but unknown is awesome =P

However, I do think that there should be a nomad jump gate or something, which is usable only if allied/friendly with the nomad faction, which links unknown and iota or 99. Right now it seems a bit difficult for any contact between players at the shrine and the keepers, due to the distance.

Yeah. A jumpgate hidden real sneaky and covery like would be awesome. Make it like the ... in ... or something. Hidden in a cloud, hard as poo to find but accesable to ... ships.

Concerning Iota, well, just awesome if you know how to use her. Great graphics, great infocards and just awesome mobility (if you're not getting shot that is). The Nebula, as stated, is made of pure winyness win.

99, as stated before, would be more awesome if it was fleshed out some more. A little bit of this, a little bit more of that, and et voila. You have two epic systems.

Overall, excellent work Yuri. A masterpiece.
