Intro Movie

I suggest that the intro movie be changed to incorporate the new history. Like after the "We lived, we grew, we prospered.." have a "But Sirius has changed..." and have like a huge battle scene between Kusari and Bretonia and some scenes between Rheinland and Liberty and maybe even like a real quiet scene with a Gallic Battleship floats slowly by in a empty system..

Just ideas.

making an intro movie with in-game footage is vastly different to trying to create a FMV sequence :s

I don't think it can be done..You can make movie, but replacing it in game...hmm that is difficult to do I think.

One requires a 20 dollar screen capture device and the other, a series of software worth thousands, and an experienced animator willing to do the job for free.

But hey, if there is anyone out there that has the knowledge to do it, maybe we can set up some kind of donation thingy to give whoever can do it, incentive.

But that is probably jumping the gun a little...

Yes. Not to mention an insane waste of bandwidth if you had to download it with each mod release.

I can make a good quality 1440 x 900 video that is 5 minutes long 14MB. In this day and age, I can't see that being a problem.

Back in the day, the mod was 30MB....Now its like...86MB.:unsure:

Someone around here must have some good ingame video recorder due to the fact we have the awesome 4.85 trailer. Or even if they didnt cant you put like the 4.85 trailer right after the original FL trailer or replace it?
