Okies well I'm pretty sure no one has noticed or reported these so ill go ahead and post about them.
Within the Nomad System (Omicron Lota)
* The warp circle of the trade lane gate does not sit between the 3 points of the trade lane parts as shown below: Note this is the same for every Nomad lane in the omi-lota system.
______________________________
* The Nomad base Dur-Shurrikun (as seen below), when entered becomes planet Xerna.... unless they some how can stuff a entire planned inside a base i think there is a problem...
the bar here at Shurrikun (mistakenly a planet inside) is completely full of robots that work for Zoner's and The Order... no nomad working robots... or even Wild human types...
Last time i checked the Nomads hate everything but their Wild brothers... so that's something that needs changing... they say stuff like "we don't own this place but we have an understanding with the people who do" .... Yeah right!... Nomads are going to let The Order and the Zoner's waltz around one of their most prized cities... i think not.... even if they are tin can robots...
______________________________
* The nearby base Altair Research facility... is completely empty there is nothing and no one in it as shown below (this is for everything on this base... no sellers yet you can still buy stuff and so forth... (is this a self serve base maybe?).

and just a foot note while i was booting around the nomad systems so far Ive found if you go to Omicron-99 base called The Ravine it has docking available but when you press it it continually flies your ship in circled back and forth around the base... something that need to be adjusted i think. as seen below after leaving my PC running for about 30 min idle trying to enter that base still it wouldn't take me in.

Well that's all for now... hope it helps a little:D
Interesting. Nomad lanes work just fine for me on the test server, docking with the nomad city will make you dock with "planet Xerna" - this is a beta and some things just haven't been updated yet (note that Planet Xerna had a docking ring in 4.84 and the base was converted)
Also, I was able to dock with the Ravine. just fly to the right spot and hit F3. Well, maybe it doesn't work from distance...
As for the base bars - yeah, they are obviously unfinished. It's not a bug, it's just probably somewhere deep down on Treewyrm's todo list.
Maybe something can be changed regarding all this things, but im sure the mastermind behind all these beautiful things will either "correct" it or leave it like it is, don't really know but lane works just fine for me. And regarding to Ravine you must be a nomad to know how to get in ( (it's not so mysterious as it sounds) do what hribek said..
if you didnt notice i was a Wild... i should be able to dock there no problems and yeah im sure that its not finished i just though i would bring it up incase it had been forgotten... besides the base NPC's being allied wrongly...
needed something to to while i wait to see if i can get my account back... my PC crashed and the number i had i lost so yeah:(just waiting on a pm from the admin and playing single player scouting the systems and making a ship list etc.
once i get my account back (i hope):(im thinking i might make a wild/nomad the systems are very beautiful.
The "glitch" about Dur-Shurrikun cannot be fixed without having a full character wipe.
The lanes work fine for me and for the ravine well it is possible to dock:P

I was just wondering about that - are these places dockable for the average non-nommie player? I did a quick fly-by on my Zoner exploration Eagle and noticed a docking module on Dur-Shurrikun, although the fearsome defences prevented me from taking a closer look. I mean, it was noticeably hostile for me, as illustrated by the copeous amounts of flying plasma and that dissuaded me trying my luck with docking too.
Same goes for the other bases. I also noticed the thing about the lanes - the activation bubble didn't appear where I thought it would (it's inset a little behind the ring) so I nearly got eaten by one of those weapon platforms as my ship adjusted itself.
Firstly, I didn't bother making custom modeled base interiors since back then I didn't even knew how to make them. But now, even though I know how, I don't have the time to model the interiors as it is a tough job considering it'll be necessary to paint own textures and everything. I did make a few sketches and half-finished artwork as to how I imagine interiors based on a few leftover sketches from DA, even a some props done in 3D already, but still: the sheer amount of work necessary to get it done is above ship making level, both in technical and time requirement senses. Guess we'll see about it, but I can't promise anything really.
Pragmatically speaking putting base NPCs and cool custom interiors around is largely useless because of the little amount of players who could potentially interact with them. For completeness sake I certainly want to have even that done, but realistically I am pretty much alone in making such stuff. Moral of all that: it sucks to be the only modder in the faction.
Secondly, the tradelane bug is related to effect caching bug in Freelancer itself, basically it attempts to put FX in the same manner it would to a regular trade lane. There is no way around it.
