The VDS-Aethon is a Corvo Class Research ship. It's indeed a unique ship. The VDS-Aethon main purpose is to serve as a mobile research station for La Division Vipère. Command over the craft has Cortana Clark. Its Heavy weaponized and heavily armored to withstand the hardest conditions that the Sirius systems have to give. The Labor on the VDS-Aethon is on the newest stand. The VDS-Aethon mostly acts in secret and stays out of active war zones to keep everything and anyone on the ship safe and intact.
It is also built to be able to stay in space for a very long period and that it only needs to dock to restock food and water or other materials required for repairs or research.

A medium sized crew quarter

-Total Crew 50-80 from that are 10 Engineers, 10 Logistic personnel, 10 Scientists, 10 Cleaning personnel, 5 Surveillance and scanning personnel, 5 Doctors and

-A Total amount Hull of 200'000. Equipable with 5 Turrets, 1 Countermeasure slot to equip an anti-torpedo/missile Countermeasure and various other equipment slots

Research and Development

Equipped with the newest technologies when it comes to research or development the crew is in need of nothing simply because they have everything they need on the VDS-Aethon. The scientists even have their own quarters to maintain a maximum output of their research without distractions. If required they can also request to have a higher production of the Power core if an experiment or a development requires it. The labors are also specially armored and isolated to maximize the security in it. Only the scientists, the high command and a few security personnel have access to the labors.

A room with medical banks

To maintain the best possible access for sick or injured personnel or other members of La Division Vipère the VDS-Aethon is equipped with the best possible machines and support devices. The Doctors and nurses are also highly trained to ensure the best possible outcome for all people aboard the VDS-Aethon. The Medicine crew can help 40 people at the same time, and they can emergency operate five people at the same time if some people are in life danger. The Hospice has its small storage to restrict the access to the medications to the trained and learned team members. Good equipped and well trained there is nearly nothing that can stop them from operating and working. For the worst case scenario that the power core suddenly would stop working they also have separate generators to maintain a 36 Hours working without the energy from the central power core.

Facilities for personeel to eat

With a middle to high-class quarter dependent on the importance of each member, the ship has mostly everything to give to its crew. A medium sized bed an own shower and a small television are provided in all quarters as well as a wardrobe for clothing and a safe for personal stuff. If needed or requested there are also more significant sized quarter available for couples or if someone needs medical support overnight. There is also an eating hall and bar for the personnel which not only serves to eat but also to meet each other in a break or maybe having a drink after work or to celebrate a birthday of someone. The ship also maintains a small fitness room so the crew can train and stay in shape for the guards it is a must to train at least 5 hours a week.

Scanning and Bridge

The VDS-Aethon also has in the most excellent technology when it comes to scanning or navigating the ship.

The Bridge

Equipped with the best long-range scanner and the latest updated navigation map there is nearly no spot in Sirius that the VDS-Aethon isnt able to find. With a well-trained team of navigators that can navigate the ship through every asteroid field or any nebula cloud, this ship is nearly unstoppable. The scanning and navigation team is split up in 8 people, so the VDS-Aethon has 24 hours a day a crew on the bridge that can make sure they reach their destination without any problems.
