Age restrictions

Let's use MPAA as a basis for discovery RP's restrictions. I wonder what is the limit in this community.

G	General Audiences	"Nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children."
PG	Parental Guidance Suggested	"Parents urged to give 'parental guidance.' May contain some material parents might not like for their young children."
PG-13	Parents Strongly Cautioned	"Parents are urged to be cautious. Some material may be inappropriate for pre-teenagers."
R	Restricted	"Contains some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the film before taking their young children with them."
NC-17	Adults Only	"Clearly adult. Children are not admitted."

Following this I guess we're playing in R-type RP? Cannot remember anything really hard in stories or ingame RP.

As far as I know the idea was to keep forum and in-game RP relatively PG-13. That's why we had swear filter for a long time and I honestly regret that it was ever disabled. Stuff like RPing actual "dark" slavery got a pretty significant backlash from the admins at some point.

There was some harder stuff of course but it was usually relegated to skype RP.

NC21 - in such fanfiction you usually find a lot of sex, violance and other "adult" things.

It's a bit silly how violence and fighting is cool while anything of erotic nature is considered inappropriate for children.

Making war is acceptable while making love is not. Ironic.

But ye I’d put us around PG-13, we aren’t quite to R levels.

Age restrictions are so hard to bypass. The forum should be locked behind a button that asks you if you are 18 or older. Everyone knows people under 18 can't click that button.
