In somewhat cold morning, Anforderungsbeauftragter Dietrich is starring nervously at the building. “So much depends on this, so much...” he says to himself while he keeps his briefcase closer, having white knuckles from his tightening grip.
He focused on some of the burned parts of the building which still bore the marks from the fighting which ousted the Federal Government.
Moving quickly by the Imperial Guardsmen, he reached the Council room and waited outside to be called. Thirty minutes later, an Obergefreiter from the Guard opened the door and invited him in, leading him to the podium and quickly moving away to his post.
Dietrich waited for the sound of the army boots to die off and with a cough, he began his presentation.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, honourable representatives of our great House, I come before you to present the situation on the field.” He made a small pause while he activated his military-grade tablet and connect it to the projector.
“As you can see, we have withdrawn from several systems: Cologne and Munich, and we had also consolidating our hold on Stuttgart und Frankfurt. The system of Thuringia is fully under the control of the Federal elements." He clicked on the projector remote control and a new slide appeared with what elements are still under Imperial control.“If you observe, we have lost the Bayern und Karlsruhe Kampfgruppen to the Federals and we suspect that we face at the same time three Hessian Kamfgruppen as well. We should not forget the auxiliary elements to these two groups, the Bundusch, which aids the Federals and Coalition elements which are helping their socialist brothers. At the same time, we have issued orders to Kolleda Kampfgruppen to fall back to our borders.”
Next slide showed the numbers of armed forces personnel “With the defection of Bayen, Karlsruhe und BDM, we are now facing with some gaps within our ranks, as well as losses during the initial clashes. Overall, we are now minus 9 million personnel to reach a level before the riots against Bundestag began. As well, we require two new battlegroups to replace the ones which left our cause.”
A slide with costs appeared “The Kaiserliche Rheinwehr requests from the Reichstag additional funds to order from Daumann new ships, as follows: 2 Elbe Class vessels, 8 Tirpitz, 12 Donau und 20 Oders. At the same time, we require 532 Wraiths, 450 Sleipnir, 310 Fafnirs and 260 Bergelmir. We would also request permission to raise 7 million new recruits and all of their equipment. However, the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr have some supplies to equip 3.5 million soldiers.”
*pause*
“All of these units are needed for future operations and to secure our borders and complete our goals against the Hessians and any other enemies of our great empire. All of our reserve funds will be used to pay for the update of our current fleet.”
Putting his tablet aside he continued “I will now take your questions.”
