With the arrival of the 5th Fleet NATO taskforce, designated Taskforce Midway, we are preparing to begin joint exercises with the Crayterian NATO force. Planned first is training exercises here in Coronado and again in Tau-44, with focus of defensive operations. Then we expect to begin Freedom of Navigation exercises here within Coronado, then Tau-44. Further discussions for planning is being made to handle the situation in Tau-31 with care to provide both security to CR while engaging in NATO exercises and about how to handle Freedom of Navigation exercises.
I do wish to remind all Crayterian forces participating in the NATO joint exercises that engaging in combat against entities neutral to one side or the other is strictly prohibited in accordance with the NATO treaty. Naturally, defensive fire is fully authorized and if Crayterian forces come under attack in presence of NATO forces, all units will respond in kind.
If you have additional ideas regarding the plans for the exercises, please share them otherwise we will begin when Liberty ships have finished refueling and resupplying.
