If you need a PhD to understand this then you really aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. There you have everything well explained

it comes down to engine limitations, I don't think you can tinker around those in a better way that is already implemented. Quite frankly I cannot see where the chain of ID-Ship-Guns-Ore can be simplified without it coming down to one sort of abuse or the other. It is true that Disco is a game that hard to get into, but it begins with the server rules among other things. I don't think mining is the greatest complication on the way of the new players. And it all eventually comes down to engine limitations.

Trading normal commodities is the worst thing you can do in the game in terms of profit.

Trading ore isn't difficult at all. Most pobs that hold it aren't hidden and usually filled. Join the mining discord if you want a miner. Or join the faction discord running your favourite pob.

This looks like it should be a flood discussion.

While mining isn't terribly interesting it's closest to a decently profitable group activity Disco had for a long time... now there's PVE missions that are also decent.

As for getting to know the best routes/supplied POBs... just search the forums?

Is it just me or do people these days indeed expect everything handed on a silver plate? It's just a bunch of rocks, boats and ID's, not rocket science. Get over it.

You just have no imagination.

DSE gets a higher mining bonus than everyone else for scrap because of experience.
Daumann doesn't get as much bonus in their field because they don't know it and their equipment is not set up for it.
