Subj: "Newest" addition to the Liberty Police, Inc.

It has been a long time coming that we procure yet another Liberty Navy Battleship and we are honored to have received the Rio Grande. Transferred August of the year 827 A.S. Battleship Rio Grande has served the Liberty Navy since 777 A.S. and has valiantly done its duties to the best of her ability. From taking on the Xenos and Liberty Rogues in Hudson to flushing out Gallic Warship Carcassonne in California, and being the anchor of the Colorado system. You can say the Rio Grande has an excellent service history.

With this new addition it saddens us to have to retire Battleship McNeil Island. Its long standing service will not go unremembered and a small memorial is being placed in One Police Plaza for all to see and pay their respects. It will be deconstructed and its parts used for other Liberty Police endeavors.

Under direct command of One Police Plaza, Battleship Rio Grande Will serve the Liberty Police in much of the same capacity that McNeil Island did. Guarding Attica Supermax and since it is a fully functioning Warship it can in the future secure key areas for the Liberty Police should such a case call for it.

Crewed by only the most competent and experienced LPI has on its payroll It will also host Liberty Navy personnel who need to complete training on an active Liberty Dreadnought or for those who seek respite in its relative isolation.
