I would like to request information on the matter of the Tau-23 battle, what was this all about and why are there GRN ships attacking us? The Okayama is now under repairs and will return to assist you further. There was a base there though I did not get a good look at it, is this what they are trying to defend?

I am afraid you stumbled into a warzone. I hope you got away unharmed. Now regarding the situation.

We discovered 3 bases cluttering the niobium mining field in Tau-23, sector 3C. One of them is unarmed and is affiliated to the Junkers, named Ikarus Storage Depot 03. We are busy negotiating with them.

The other 2 bases have installed weapon platforms. So we marked them for destruction, as all these safe havens hurts our piracy business. They are called Niobium Ore Depot and BiaCris. We are as clueless as to why the Enclave show such interest in these bases. More reason for us to remove them as they are on the border of Kusari. With the Enclave presence to defend them, we could use Blood Dragon support. You have experienced yourself that they won't go down without a fight.

You make a fair point I will have the fleet mobile in 24 hours to assist in the distribution of these bases. If you are negotiating a deal with the Junker base we will leave them be until further notice from you though we have nothing against a Junker base so long as it does not hinder ours and your operations.

I will continue support role for you until the fleet is mobile and ready to attack.

There has been a change of plans. The enclave turned on their protectorate and now Niobium Ore Depot requested our assistence against the Enclave and we reached an agreement. This is a good opportunity to undermine their activities in the system, which should be our primary goal.

I hereby ask that the Blood Dragons change their stance regarding Niobium Ore Depot. Kill all enclave you see, but reinforce its defensives, so that the influence of the Enclave in the region deminishes

It saddens me to know by the time I received these message that the enclave had already turned the base into scrap. After what has happened no Enclave ship shall be welcomed by us into or around Kusari space. If they cause you trouble I will be glad to come and assist in removing these gaijin from Kusari.

We did what we could to protect the base when it changed its allegiance, but there were too many hostile forces in the area and our reinforcements didn't make it in time. Either way, the influence of the Enclave diminished in the system. In the end, a base under Enclave control was destroyed, not by our hands, but their own.

The victory would have been more complete when the the base remained standing under a GC protectorate. Now we just have to settle for the fact that the Enclave lost one of their vassals.
