Im was wondering when will be possible to see galics outside Galia? i mean Council won the battle of opening the borders, GRN ans GRP wont go outside and will try to stop outsiders on Galia. But the galic companies like GMS will be able to go outside like any house company to get goods and make money?
The Council -DID NOT- win the war. They simply opened a breach or two. They have difficulty to hold their positions, but it most likely that Gallia is open now forever, whatever the outcome is.
So no contraband in or out Galia? that will be impossible. The Brigandes and especialy the junkers will be in and out Galia trying to control the galic black market wich is a gold mine ready to be explored.
Why wouldn't a curious non-Royalist Gallic civilian/mercenary/freelancer leave Gallia to explore the brave new universe? Any why wouldn't they do this in Gallic-Civilian ships with Gallic-Civilian weaponry?
If Gallia was supposed to stay a closed society, then it should be a separate Gallia-only server with no connections to the 'normal' RP server.
I agree with Drake here. While the GRN and all the Gallic corporations would want nothing to do with the outside world, factions like the Brigands, the Maquis, and the Union Corse would probably be open to getting out of Gallia for trade and the like. I think I even remember reading a news report that said just that, that the Gallic unlawfuls were branching out to open trade with the rest of Sirius.
After all, how else would we have wine in New York?
Quote:I agree. The Gallic Trading companies are nearly all allied with the monarchy so they would stay away fromt he rest of Sirius.
Actually, this is not strictly true. Many of these corporations have Council sympathies and even covertly supply the Council in some instances. Obviously they have to be careful not to get caught. They would be ordered to stay away from Sirius but the Council would not stop them leaving and would even encourage it. The more people that leave Gallia and mingle with the rest of Sirius, the harder it will be for the Gallia government to maintain separation from Sirius.

There is no real reason as to why they couldn't try, but they wouldn't be very trusted, although most people wouldn't open fire on sight and would express curiosity and wariness at a Gallia freelance vessel. However, Gallia has only just been opened so it is reasonable to expect that it is still fairly closed off for now, but will be more open in the future as time goes by, and more entrances into Gallia are discovered.

The rest have no reasons I can see.
Agreed. Unless under the afore mentioned circumstances as stated by Drake. That is, some intrepid civilian or mercenary fancying a trip into the unknown.
personally i think the council and their gallic ally, need to go discover Sirius,i beleive its why they opened a way to Sirius,on the other side i also think, all this take time and for the moment its better for the council and their ally to see what will come to us before risk themself too far in Sirius.
