This light auxillary vessel was built by Samura to try and regain some of the Kusari civilian ship market that had been taken by Kishiro and Renzu during previous years. Designed as a high end personal craft, it was meant to ferry couriers in between planets and bases quickly and in safety. While it is used for this purpose often, once the ship made it onto the open market it became a popular choice for many Kusari civilians. Though it seems that few official producers seem to have records of many ships being purchased by the Hogosha and Farmer's Alliance, it seems to be their favorite choice as scout and surveillance ships, and is a very common sight in Hogosha and Farmer's Alliance hands.
The Order's expirimentation with the early Bastet model laid bare several critical flaws in the design. The overequipped, but underpowered Bastet simply lacked the maneuverability and endurance to survive long enough to bring its firepower to bear. Order engineers redesigned the ship, using it's basic, proven frame for a new, more agile vessel. The resulting Bastet Mk II is mainly used for force recon in areas deemed too dangerous for Order interceptors, and regular escort patrols in lower risk areas.
Orillion's Corps of Engineers latest development, Nephthys is a vastly improved Anubis. During Nomad war, Anubis proved to be a reliable ship, but its armor and weaponry were outclassed by alien enemies. Many skilled pilots of The Order were killed in unequal fights, and weakening of the organization lead to doubtful alliance with Corsairs. Using Titan power array, Order engineers constructed Nephthys, one of the heaviest and most powerful fighters ever seen in Sirius.
Built upon the experience gained by years of Crayter shipbuilding, the Nyx class is the most advanced Fighter type available in the Republic. The lessons learned from the Eros class light Fighter design as well as the study of hostile flight tactics have been combined to a deadly weapon. Its unmatched speed and unrelenting brutality as well as the simple maintenance make this vessel the Crayter fleets standard fighter.
The pearl of Crayter engineering, the Pytho is the most powerful small ship the fleet can offer. Having the Nyx fighter at its roots, this ship received a bigger powerplant and more powerful weapons in an attempt to fight back the Outcast and Gallic capital ships. The small front and side profiles make this bomber one of the best assault weapons the Republic knows.
When the Bounty Hunter Guild focused it's capital fleet on the Omicron systems, the Order needed a bomber that was both capable of fending off these attackers and efficiently engineered due to the Order's limited resources. The Sekhmet represents the pinnacle of Order engineering and allows the Order to deal heavy damage to attacking capital ships at minimal risk.
Necessity to counter enemy capital ships forced the Corsairs to develop their own bomber model. The Praetorian is far superior to Titan in terms of hull strength and power supply capacity. However, the upgrades affected maneuverability in an adverse way, and this ship can barely defend itself if caught without escort by enemy fighters.
Built upon the same spaceframe as the Rhino Freighter, the Grizzly was developed to serve as an armed and armored transport for essential personal within the Liberty government. From flag officers to government contractors the Grizzly provides the hardened transport necessary to ferry critical minds to critical locations.
Developed to meet the logistical needs of the Liberty Armed Forces for rapid deployment of critical troops, equipment and infrastructure into hostile environments; the Bison Class was built to accomodate the daunting task of performing space to atmospheric maneuvers without the benefit of Ageira docking amenities.
As the largest, and one of few, craft fully rated for atmospheric operations it was not long before a number of domestic commercial ventures were putting in bids for civilian construction and distribution with aims of circumventing reliance upon Ageira technologies in under-developed regions. While extremely difficult to maintain, the vessel's gargantuan hold ensconced within a reinforced space frame, replete with military grade defenses, has rendered it an attractive purchase for corporate entities seeking to outdo the martial capabilities of the Mastodon class.
As the Rheinland Military campaign against Liberty ground down into a long, sustained conflict, much of their forces had to be tasked to the frontline. This left large gaps in the patrols at the borderworlds, in the Omega and Sigma regions. Increasingly, the heavily armored but lightly armed Colossus convoys came under pressure from Corsair and Hessian raiders. A distress call could no longer guarantee help would arrive in time.
Realising they were largely on their own beyond Rheinland's borders, Republican Shipping started to look for an alternative with more firepower. Not willing or able to invest into designing a new vessel from scratch, engineers looked through the archives until they came upon the design of a heavily armed H-Fuel transport, a relic from the 80 years war. Realising it had many of the desired characterstics, a huge cargo capacity, and an extensive point defense system to deter smaller raiders, work was started to adapt the ship as a general cargo vessel. While originally designed for gaseous or liquid cargo transporting, it's pods can now accomodate a wide variety of cargo. This has drawn the attention of various other Rheinland corporations, especially Kruger and ALG.
Rheinland's economy has long been built off the mineral wealth hidden within the Walker Nebula, with fleets of Hegemon-class excavators doing most of the work. But as time has gone on, the easier deposits have been whittled down - or rendered entirely inaccessible, after the loss of Omega-11. Daumann responded with the Kaiser. Though still designed for bulk excavation, the Kaiser is a lighter, more compact vessel suited to more readily accessing deposits in hazardous areas or scouting for new deposits to further expand Rheinland's mineral wealth.
The Hydra is the Crayter Republic's answer to swarms of strikecraft that may threaten it's interest. Designed for a multitude of roles ranging from force recon to fleet escort to heavy patrol, the Hydra is able to take to the front in nearly any operation.
Built by the Royal Bretonia Navy in part to settle potential disputes during expansion and settlement, this class remains to keep the peace domestically.
Though being an organization possessing awe inspiring means of destruction, the Order's primary purpose has always been one of vigilance. Working under the philosophy that the best war that is won before it begins, the Resheph was commissioned.
Possessing scanning technology of dizzying sophistication, rumored to be able to create tunnels through which distant stars can be scanned in real time, in a frame capable of incredible feats of stealth with evasive technology capable of ferrying it safely from the grimmest encounters.
