Yes, bounty hunting and engagement rules in/out of ZOI need to be simplified to make them less sanction-baity and easier to understand and remember. POB rules need a larger rework so they dont seduce players into investing a lot of work into pobs that are destined to be destroyed. Also the way rules are presented is an unmitigated mess and leaves a bad impression of this place. They should be rewritten like this so at least the rules needed to play on the server are actually available ingame:

Unfortunately the majority of the forum-vocal community are too selfish to make things better for new people. Some lack the foresight to understand that better and easier to understand rules will also benefit "vets" by making rule-ignorant noobs fewer and less annoying for them, while others sadly take pleasure in abusing people who are less familiar with the rules than they are.

Amazing thread, Karlotta. You pretty much summed up all my concerns regarding the rules and even improved on things I was too ignorant to even think they needed improvement.

Placing myself in the shoes of a newbie I can see how that overhaul would make the game easier to understand and less off putting to attempt to learn how things work around here.

Now on to my next question: Why has this not been implemented already??
