OVERVIEW

---

Audacity, ever an attribute of the Outcasts. Either through their own confidence or hubris, the Sons of Malta strike with determination.

Observing the retreat of the Crayter Republic from their position held in Tau-31 from the advance of the Kusari Navy, the Republic made the mistake of believing their position in Tau-44 was secure. The Outcasts were watching and waiting for a perfect time to lunge out at their enemy as they became dangerously isolated. Now the Basilica and the Captana perform a strategic pincer movement in the Taus, aiming to bring the Carrier Hades to its knees like Helios before it.

After Maltese forces swept aside the determined but brief resistance of Sulawesi, the Republic finds itself battling to rescue her wounded while bringing in every piece of equipment that can be spared from assets elsewhere to bolster its defensive capabilities should the Maltese strike again. All of this under the shadow of the dreadnaughts' expected blow to come.

In the chaos, the smuggling routes through the Taus to Bretonia have opened wide with Maltese and their middlemen attempting to flood the western sector of Sirius with bulk supplies of Cardamine.

• Casualties will move from Sulawesi Citadel to Sabah Shipyard.
  
• Repair Materials will move from Sabah Shipyard to Sulawesi Citadel.
  
• Pure Cardamine will move from Planet Malta to Trafalgar Base.

Rule changes:

• For the duration of the event, Tau-44 will have a 30 minute death counter instead of 1 hour.

Exceptional performances by individual players will be recognized and rewarded.

Intentionally suicide/denying kills may have grave repercussions. Self-kills and teamkills will be tracked. You have been warned.

I imagine the event is just to coincide with what story's doing and the outcome of the overall battle is not dependent on points scored in the event. (Just a guess really.)

I apologise for ramming the planet...Turret view zoomed out to the max while shooting and reversing from dreads at the same time made me not see it
. . .even though my group was warning me I didn't realize they were talking to me... It seems TW goes right through the planet. Point to OC if somehow possible, there were many.

I was on full HP and regen when that happened, protected by PoB :/
