OVERVIEW

Long-range scanners aboard Her Majesty's Ship MacDuff have recorded intermittent communications in the far beta or alpha sectors of Tau-31. Local military officials have dispatched a small number of dedicated search parties to find the source, but little news of their success or failure has found its way from Planet Harris. In the meantime, rumors among civilians have started to run rampant interpreting the garbled transmissions as breadcrumbs for hidden military exercises or worse. Aboard Holman, an enterprising young cryptology hobbyist now believes the transmission is a distorted S.O.S. and has called for independent searches to begin.

January 3rd - January 6th

Rule changes:

• All participants are strongly advised to create new characters prior to beginning their search.
  
• Participants must follow all rule changes provided on applicable infocards.
  
• Only fighter ship classes may participate.
  
• Proof of completion must be posted in this thread prior to the event's end and may only be completed once per player.
  
• On your journey, don't take more than one along the way.
