Greetings good developer types.

Speaking from the LWB here, could we get the Behemoth sold at a less lawful place? Right now the only way to acquire it is during a character setup. My suggestion would be Kaiserslautern, as it's centrally located and all, but any sort of less lawful place in Rheinland would be great. The same goes, to a lesser extent, for the Humpback.

Along the same lines, could the small transport turrets be sold in a greater variety of places so the various less lawful factions of the houses can not have gigantic turrets? Right now they seem to be at the IC station and main planet of each house, which makes it difficult for, at least, Rheinland and Liberty unlawfuls to have an option. Perhaps adding Kreuzberg and Rochester as sale points?

Thanks.

Is that in fact the case? We have been under the impression that they were classified as Civilian Rheinland on the tech chart, which puts them squarely in the usable category.

Yes, Civilian Rheinland, like for Duaman. Not for Hessians or Unioners.

Except, if they're Civilian Rheinland, then the tech chart says they're fine to be used for the Hessians, Unioners, LWB, and Bundschuh.

Whole bunch of LWBs in Behemoths would like to disagree! I was under the impression that they're civilian rheinland too, which would indeed make them fine for all.

Also yeah, I agree with Ktayn on this one. I guess Kreuzberg makes the most sense, but it might be full of ships already? Kaiserslautern is, as mentioned, the other good bet, since no LWB bases sell ships at all, and it's in Berlin.

Though there would be some logic to the Unioners (being ship building people) selling them, too. The thought was Wedel for that, but the one seems to be nicer.

Just out of curiosity...why would LWB need trade ships? I'm not being snide, I'm genuinely curious.

Also, why not use the Pirate Transport/Train? I don't know if they're sold in (or around) rheinland, but these two might be a better/easier fix.

To pirate cargo. It's not effective if you can only carry 50 units of the cargo stolen. Plus, we use them in lieu of gunboats.

Pirate transports could be used, but there's the issue of them being both designed by Rogues and not available in Rheinland. Plus using a civilian Rheinland ship fits better with the rp.

Ah, I see. Sorry, I'm not really on the unlawful pirate side of things...and never had CARGO demanded of me trader, just 2mil.

One alternative is the Transport/Large Transport? Even though they're sold as lawful, they're fairly ubiquitous. A staged event with Synth-foods might even get you a couple of hijacked ones (don't know how many you'd need).

Either that, or possibly a BW Transport, sold on FP9, might be a way to go too, although the blue color is distracting.

Just some thoughts.
