Something that has annoyed me ever since the first battleship was modded for multiplayer is how small, low mass objects have a huge effect on larger more massive objects when it should be the opposite.

I'm speaking of collisions of course. I apologize if this has been discussed already on this forum, I couldn't find it anywhere. I don't know how complicated it would be to assign each ship type a mass to govern what happens when two things collide. I guess the problem is that you would have to go through every object in the mod. Perhaps you could give this behavior to only a select set of objects: small ships should be much lower in mass to cap ships. As it is now a starflier could bounce a battlestar out of its trajectory into a jumpgate (this is accompanied by much swearing and vulgar gestures at the monitor.)

Floating loot-these things should just bounce off the sheilds, but they will stop a cap ship in its tracks and send it careening into god knows what.

You can leave immovable objects alone: stations, gates etc.

I think the guys of TNG mod found a way to fix it. But i don't know why it hasn't been implemented here.
Mass has already been increased, but it had no effect.

I have a huge supply of doggie treats if you require extra "ballast".

(*One of the more "filthy Italian hand gesture" issues fer sure fer sure*)

Well..... There's a number of reasons.

I know Igiss has tried numerous ways to fix it, none work due to things within the mod itself and the way the mod interacts with the normal game...

Some things can't be done, ya know?
