Hermanos and hermanas, as you all are aware, the situation in Omicrons is getting further and further away from being calm each day. Not only out archenemies the Outcasts have always been a source of nuisance, but also Core gringos audaciously took Nauru and operate in our space without any respect. Not to mention the glowing squids, that terrorize the edges of the Empire and even show up in the clouds in the Omicron Gamma. What's more, when all these adversaries were separate, our mighty forces could deal with them successfully. However, there are more than rumors recently about close ties between the Core and Maltese dons. And - as if the Maltese were not blasphemous enough - there are reports of the Outcast WORSHIPPING the jellyships, which make such a nice snack with ouzo when fried. Señors, I believe when you think about a joint offensive of Maltese, the gringos and the flying snacs, it gives you unpleasant taste in the mouth as much as me.
So, it is rather obvious that, in the current circumstances, the Empire would benefit from a strategic alliance with a power that has some common goals with ourselves. Or at least common enemies.
As it happens, we have been contacted recently by representatives of the Order Overwatch, who seek to establish diplomatic relations, as they are facing the same issues as us.
I, Rogelio Axiotis, Primeiro-tenente and Lider do Esquadrao of the BFC was chosen as a negotiator, and we concluded our meeting in Omicron Xi, at the Mykonos orbit, with Grand Admiral Michal Golanski, the commanding officer of the Overwatch.
Please, hermanos, make yourself acknowledged with the agreement we concluded. We call all interested factions to join this agreement, because our enemies are uniting under our nose.
The Strategic Agreement on Omicrons Operations between the Corsair Empire represented by BFC and The Order represented by The Overwatch.
During our negotiations on the orbit of Mykonos and Amorgos the Order representatives, the following was agreed upon:
1) Order vessels do not shoot Corsair vessels, unless in self-defence.
2) Corsair vessels do not shoot Order vessels, unless in self-defence.
3) BFC promises not to tax Order vessels passing through the Empire space. We encourage other Corsair clans to be nice to our amigos, and do not tax them, or at least do that lightly. Naturally, Order traders bringing us food, weapons, hi-tech stuff and other nice things are welcome.
4) Corsairs and the Order are encouraged to help each other to shoot any of the three adversaries we have, namely: the Outcast, the Nomad, the Core ("Los tres enemigos | Os três inimigos | Οι τρεις εχθροί.").
5) The Order promises to enforce no-shooting-corsairs rule to everyone within the space they control.
6) From our part, BFC promises to enforce similar rule in the Imperial space. And encourages other Corsair factions to protect the Order vessels from being destroyed by third parties as well.
7) Because Crete is our sacred homeland, no Order capital vessel is permitted within 20k range of the Planet Crete without prior notification and clearance, except when they are engaging Los Tres Enemigos. In that case, when the pests are eradicated, Order capital vessels will move to a safe distance by default.
8) As a reciprocal measure, we promise not to come closer than 20k to Akabat, symmetrical conditions apply as in the previous entry.
9) As a courtesy, we try not bring our shiny artifacts through the Order-controlled space for the trading with 3rd parties as a general rule. If we find something more peculiar than usual*, the Order offers to buy them from us for pesetas.
* Sometimes they shine too much, or move or hiss and say bad words, you know what I mean. If we find any of these, Order asks to sell these directly to them for pesetas. They want to study their lexicon and organoleptic qualities. We can surely deliver those to the Order scientists, so we get pesetas and our cargo holds do not stink.
As a cherry on a pie, the Order representatives confirmed our claim to Nauru even without being asked, which is both rightful, and honourable.
Naturally, the Coalition question we discussed in such a way that it won't give the reds any benefits against us. Order cannot join any offensives against us, as stated above, and will not interfere with our "business" (with cannons) with the reds.
I ask every other Corsair faction leadership to respond whether you would consider joining the treaty.

As the Outcast have allied with the Core, despite their nomad worship, we too need allies. The Order was once a strong Ally.
We appreciate your agreement with The Order and we want to thank our brother Black Flag Corsairs for carrying out the work to make this treaty happen.
We know years of hostile relations won't be forgotten in a minute.
Some of us lost friends and family to the Order. But we are a practical people; we Taurui will stick to these conditions. If needed, we will help to enforce them in Order and Corsair territory, where it would be appropriate to do so.

Naturally, we shall conduct the second meeting to delineate the zones of interest and all the corridors precisely. The more interested parties taking part in these talks, the better, so as soon as we hear from the glorious leaders of The Brotherhood and Iberian Empire, we shall have a new meeting the the Order, representatives from all factions together. I appreciate our differences. Corsair Empire always stood strong completely surrounded by enemies, yet still we survived and have grown even stronger.
Yet, the times change and some problems of the Empire have never been solved for generations. Do we have a planet with rich soils and clean water? No. Have we wiped out Maltese threat? No. On the contrary, new enemies swarm around in amounts not seen before, despicable Core gringos occupied Nauru, even more despicable communists crawled through some space trench and occupied Tangier, Core holds Skagen orbit blocking us from exploiting whatever shitty resources that planet has, and all of this is right under our nose. I don't even mention frivolous calamari bonanza right nearby in Azores, also known as Omicron Kappa, and there even have been sightings of some weird body-modifying gringos there lurking.
The only reason - no, actually, two reasons - why we, BFC, decided to try to negotiate friendlier terms with the Order is because, señoros, we believe that diplomacy has been neglected by the Empire for too long, and that the old - however honourable - ways are failing to deliver. Should I remind you that the last major standoff that we had in Sigma-17 and subsequent withdrawal of the Maltese forces has been won not only by the virtue of the sword, but also by the virtue of quill? And monet, or course, but still. We had supply contractors from Kusari even!
Recent jump hole reorganization in our space will definitely result in even more tensions with our enemies. Of course you should sign a treaty with Order if you were shooting on them. Shooting our ex-ally wasn't wise and you see it now. But, there is no treaty to be signed by El Empire, as there was no fire exchange with them. Did you all forget that Fes, Prox and Delos all depend of fresh spare parts delivered by Order?
I'd like to tell you to not repair what's not broken. But there is a lot of something broken, caramba! Order's docking clearances are silently removed for our bases ever since they signed alliance with Coalition. We pretended we don't know about their treatery for years, to keep them at least neutral. But now Prox is helplessly orbiting Crete, rusting beyond repairs. Fes needs parts delivery from Order to finish repairs and leave drydocks of Rhodes.
