Is it required to have a battleship license on a cruiser?

Nope,

But I would consider requesting permission from the faction if your an independent. And not to forget a Guard ID.

thanks guys, that answers my question. I had a friend once tell me that he thought that all cap ships required a BS license, so I was not sure. (no this is not an april fools joke:laugh:)

edit: should I still get permission if it a zoner cruiser that i'm looking to get?

As far as I know, the TAZ are the only ranking major Zoner faction around, so I would ask them.

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack

If a ship requires a BSLicense, it is mounted, if you click the "Select Ship" button. You dont need to buy the License seperatly.

Ah, and: Only one License per player is allowed.
