"Tartarus"

Project Tartarus is more than a simple project, it is the most important project that the Void Faes and Vagrants have. Once the K'hara brethren and their enslaved human followers declared them as enemies this project started. It is a project about finding a new home a place where the Void Faes and the Vagrants can live in peace, and sing their songs in harmony. An urgent project that requests the attention of every being that follows the true Light of the Vagrants. For many decades the so-called Omicron Lost system was a system of unity and Harmony. Yet they had to run to save themself and avoid the Exodus that was called upon them. Lost and in pain, the Void Faes struggle to find a system they can call home.

Phase One

1.1 Deployment of Scout and Research squadrons

While most are hiding and trying to avoid being detected by their former brethren. Some have been deployed to start the search for a new home. A long and exhausting task that not many will be able to fulfill. One thing is assured that if a suitable system exists they will be able to find it.

1.2 Infiltration and Resource gathering

Such Missions need a lot of resources that the Void Faes do not have in their current state. So they have to become creative to gather as many resources as possible. This includes the infiltration of certain factions that are able to upkeep such missions without noticing the loss of a few materials here and there.

1.3 Study of Possibly inhabitable Systems.

If a fitting system is found a closer study has to take place, to evaluate possible risks and benefits alike. The major task that only the most advanced and studied people within the Void Faes will be able to take on.

Phase Two

1.1 Study of possible inhabitable planets or abanded stations

Once a suitable system has been found there will be further and deeper studies about possibly inhabitable planets and their flora and fauna. There also have to be studies if a planet would have to be terraformed to make it more suitable for life on it. While the study on space stations might seem easier they can also end up being very complex. As it is currently unknown if such a system even exists this is more a hypothesis for the Void Faes or a distant dream.

1.2 Resource gathering for possible repairs on space stations or construction of planetary buildings

The gathering of resources to make a system inhabitable is as important as the studies themself. The number of materials such a project can consume are enormous. This task may seem more difficult than finding a suitable system for the Void Faes to lîfe in.

1.3 Establish a line of defense.

While such projects are impossible to keep hidden from the eyes of the enemy a suitable defense force is needed to make sure that no one will interfere with this project. It might seem to be a bit early to already start worrying about such matters yet the Void Faes have learned from the incident with the K'hara to better be prepared even if nothing should happen.

Phase Three

1.1 Contact with locals, merchants, mercenaries

While a secure defensive line seems like something that should be enough and a steady flow of resources from infiltrated groups and factions will take care of all the needs this is sadly not true. To establish a living society in a system, allies have to be won and contracts have to be forged. This can go from a simple fighter squadron aiding in an upcoming battle or a delivery of drinkable water up to a full-blown attack to expand territory or huge resource deliveries to construct ships.

1.2 Construction of counter measurements against attacks

One could think that a few ships patroling a system could be enough to hold a steady line of defense, yet this is not true. To ensure safety in a system large patrols have to be arranged and the construction of strong defensive platforms is needed. This can range from small gunboat or cruiser-sized patrols up to the construction of small outposts and weapon platforms.

Phase Zero - preparations,

there is a great undertaking ahead of us and we need to be as self-reliant as possible. We can achieve that in several ways, but the first step is always the same - simplify our supply chain. What do I mean by that?

Every device or piece of equipment we are going to take with us will need its set of spare parts, an expert who can maintain it and space where to store such parts. We will also have to acquire these parts on regular basis - by legal or illegal means - or we will have to build it ourselves if we will have a capacity do so, but that also redirects precious man-hours from more important tasks.

Thus, as a solution, we will have a new set of requirements for every piece of equipment:

1) Reliability - the less it breaks down, the better.
2) Ease of maintenance - if it takes lesser amount of skill to maintain and repair, the better.
3) Multi-functionality - we cannot afford specialized gear.
4) Availability - the more procurement channels available for us, the better.
5) Parts interchangeability - the less specialized spare parts, the better.

Because nature of our operations does not mean "if" we get revealed and declared as "shoot-on-sight" by various parties, but it's "when", we must prepare ourselves from the start. Simplifying our logistical chain is a key for our success and should be an integral part of our strategy overall. We cannot afford to play with fancy toys right now.

Every commander of department is now required to follow this guideline. Even if your department or unit is non functional right now, you have to know what are you going to use in accordance to these guidelines when your department or unit gets restored.
This guideline applies for every piece of equipment - from vessels, fighters, their equipment to personal armors, weapons, kits and ends with basic things like switches, light bulbs, tubes and computers.

Our end-goal should be, that for every piece of equipment currently in use, we would need 2-4 more of it lying in supply depots and source of spare parts or ready to be assembled as replacement.
In the cases of large pieces of kit like hypothetical future capital warships - we would need that many sets of its critical systems lying in our depots - engines, reactors, sensor suites and such.

We haven't achieved anything yet, but this is the right time to adjust our future plans and set our objectives accordingly.

Phase Zero - preparations

I am putting my Luxury "Enterprise" Liner "Chateau de Lorraine" at the disposal of the project together with its crew. This ship is equipped with multiple living cells and is capable of self-sustaining for months, thanks to hydroponic technology taken from Zoners. Also, the ship is equipped with a good medical compartment and a scientific laboratory in combination. However, sacrifices had to be made to implement such an ambitious ship. Passenger capacity has been cut in half, so that now the Liner is able to effectively contain only 500 people.
The crew of the ship has not yet passed the enlightenment of the Light, but they are completely subordinate to my will. Each of them was personally selected by me. There are no unworthy ones among them.

Phase Zero - preparations,

I got introduced to Project "Tartarus" through your songs and came up with an idea, how to aquire people... during my times in the Technocracy patrolling around, I witnessed and watched several times the acts of local pirates hijacking and plundering several logistics vessels or passenger liners of the OS&C in the Cortez System.

We managed to find some pirates that boarded a passenger liner and abducted and stuffed crew personell and passengers from a liner, they use a stolen USV Transport vessel for that. I followed them into the nebulae where I already contacted our fellows to set up a trap. I faked helping them in the raid. Chloris then among with other of ours set an ambush and we successfully boarded the transport, hijacking the hijackers...

It seems we managed to subdue the people with fellow Vagrants bombarding the Gull's hull with spores, sounds familiar? They became then pretty easy to handle and we successfully boarded the ship. The vessel is known as "USV Piper", a little civilian transport, should be easy to maintain and could get in handy for our cause, what do you think? Chloris and I could maybe need this vessel for further steps...

Among the 500 passengers and crew, we also managed to aquire several supplies. We flew the boarded vessel to Sedona station for processing, we can't decide yet which are considerable worthy or unworthy for the light, together with sister Thraike we probably can figure that out, but these people surely met a better fate than ending up on the slave market somwhere among lowely pirates.

Using data obtained from our agent in the Bretonian Armed Forces and a recently captured group of pirates along with a boarding transport, our battle group managed to intercept the transport, transporting colonists and scientists to the planet Harris. The operation was carried out in the area of ​​a narrow passage between the West and East Leeds smog clouds. Passengers are in cryogenic hibernation, and the ship's crew was only 100 people. Phase Zero - preparations

After being introduced to Project "Tartarus", I started to plan the next important moves that would aid in its completion. The crew of my battlecruiser is loyal to me and our cause, and they will not pose a threat.
The first move was to acquire a large number of marines, which were carefully selected by me. They will play a crucial role in future offensive operations, and if necessary, eliminate those who seek to reveal our true identity.
We succesfully transfered them to a transport ship in one of the asteroid fields of the Tau-31 system. After the transfer was complete, they were sent to Sedona, in Baffin.

Currently everything goes smoothly. We have almost reached a population of 3000 colonists, scientists, marines and so on. While me and my crew are currently working on minor repair on our research vessle, it seems like my brothers and sister are handeling the task quite successful. Once we have reached a total population of 5000, we shall start the resource gathering. We will need all the basics like oxygen, water, food rations and medical equipment. As well as robtics and solar panels for at least the most basic energy generation.

Phase Zero - preparations

Once again, our agent at the Bretonian Armed Forces has proven to be useful. The agent arranged a meeting for our envoy who acted under the guise of a free miner with a representative of BMM. After several hours of negotiating the terms of the contract, a deal was made for the purchase of mining equipment and robotics. Moreover, we were allowed to make further purchases of equipment from the corporation. We no longer need to make raids on trade convoys goes through Taus and Bretonia. All that we need, we can get in the Kingdom of Bretonia directly. Resources was unloaded on Sedona. This is truly the success of the Light.

Hello Brothers and Sisters of the Light. We managed to Hire 20 Doctors and 40 Nurses for our New Home. as I am still young I didn't try to seed them, I Hope the Older Brothers and Sisters help me with that. But I made sure that non of the Doctors and Nurses have any Relatives that would Miss them. we made sure that they don't have a Familie or any Relatives that would Miss them or Bring the Darkness on our Tracks. I also managed to Buy Hospital Equipment and Medical Mashienery to build a Litle Hospital and a Research Facility in our New Home.
