Simmilar to the RP fail thread, now let's try something a bit different.
Post your ego boosting memories young and old.
Ill start with those, which i remember correctly.


Oldest one i have is that the first time i ever entered Omicron 90 was with Harby.


I had the opportunity to take out an Osiris with a GB in O99

Not long ago, i had a trader pirated on my LR, and a IMG albatross jumps out, yelling "where are them pirates" me and another LR say we are on the other side of the system and he flies there. While he does, we tax another trader, then we CD an adv train and try to pirate him, then the BC jumps, opens fire immideatly, blowing up the trader, who i used as a shield, then me.


Made a guy fly up 150 k up and 60k off manhattan sun to find the neutral admin base.

I made a bug report that may not have been a bug... that was kinda a fail. But on the upside I made a msg dump for LPR, got a new member ingame (you know who you are;)), RP'd with some royals in burgundy about trying to liberate the Gallic people and made first contact between the council and the harvesters, and all today. So all in all not too shabby me thinks.

Oh, I got another one that I enjoyed. I was winning a fight vs a gunboat in a VHF with no torpedo. Now it was a zoner GB and the guy did surrender before I won but I was still fairly pumped.

Sort of fail and win and facepalm all in one:
A trader in New Tokyo decided to re-engage me (Redcat, SN/CD) and my ally (Falcata, Nova/CD)...in a Huntress (4.84). We proceeded to take him out with relative ease (me sitting in his blind spot popping SNs into him)...he then PMed me asking me to move to Kyushu so we could fight again...

Egotiem:
I SNed 2 Falcatas within minutes of each other on my GMG Taiidan...(yeah, I suck at killing things, and was quite impressed at this result)

In fact, that Taiidan has done a lot of weird/awesome things...including ramming a Nephthys' torp and destroying the Neph in the ensuing explosion (both of us were shieldless, I survived...)

The other day, with no ammo or regens (other than some mines) and on fire (almost 0 hull), I fought a Nyx to only 25 bots from full. Took him half an hour to kill me.

I once convinced a guy there was a Phantom base he could dock on in Sigma-17 between the two suns....

I had six Navy tagged guys running around for three hours afterwards calling me awesome and stuff. That's an ego boosting moment.

Only ever had one sanction to deal with.

You boys and girls are awesome, and it's a good thing to know you beleive in the Rogues as I do. Ta muchly for the much needed confidence boost.

And he was in a heavily-armored transport.
