A tropical storm (also known as a cyclone, hurricane or typhoon) has left meteorologists at the Planet Manhattan Weather Bureau confused as it failed to dissipate after crossing overland.

Tropical storms generally pick up strength in large oceans where uncontrolled windspeeds allow such storms to form and cause havoc near coastal areas. However, as windspeeds are generally more controlled overland, even the strongest Catorgy 5 tropical storms have lost strength and degraded into rainstorms before eventually dissipating once they make landfall at coastal locations.

As shown in the image above, the tropical storm in question has not dissipated despite entering several hundred kilometres inland.

People all over the planet immediately took to the Neural Net spreading unconfirmed theories of Nomad actvities and Ageira weather experimentation in Planet Manhattan. However, official government sources have stated there is no evidence of any Nomad or Ageira involvement, and asked the public to refrain from spread conspiracy theories or fake news. The New York University's meteorology department, and Planet Manhattan Weather Bureau have partnered to investigate the cause of this incident, which seemingly defies the laws of physics.

Stay tuned, more to come.
