Fulcrum Class Civilian Gunship

Hello. A year or so ago I made this Fulcrum Corvette model for use in any mod. A few days ago I decided to freshen it up and give it a more civilian, Discoverysh look. I know there are already 2 open market civilian GBs in the mod, but I thought maybe there could be a 3rd one too.
It is roughly the lenght of a Kusari Gunboat. 8 possible turret mounts, but of course they can be reduced.
I am making this topic, so if you guys think, there is no need for such a ship, then it is fine with me. This is something like a proposal or idea.



Objector Class Xeno Gunship

VIEW IN 3D

While I was texturing the ship, I got this idea of it maybe being a Xeno Gunship. It is textured and colored accordingly. This is also an idea. So there I have 2 versions of the ship. As far as I know, duplicated ships are not thing on Discovery, so maybe one could end up ingame...

The cockpit really needs to change. It makes no sense at all and doesnt fit the silhouette.

Hmm I personaly like it, a few Discovery GBs have cockpit-ish bridges, but I see your point. I might come up with some more vanilla-ish version.

Imagine if you were flying it - per say, you wouldn't be able to see out the front... or barely out the sides unless you were tip toeing.

Well yeah true...I need to think about a new design for it. Atm nothing comes to my mind, but I figure out something till tomorrow.

Kuze, hi,

Why not change a bit one of the models and both go in game - i also see it as a dreadnought haha (hey what happened with Vagabont heart rogue dreadnought pSmile

So I got clarification regarding the number of versions in the mod. Both ending up in the mod is unlikely. So only one version.

Could work. But I am inclined too keep the current one. Capship bridge windows are more or less just soft-scifi things, all the info should be relayed on screens and virtual viewports anyway.
