Unlike the symbols of the low class uneducated peasant revolt from ancient Sol they use, the Bundschuh were founded in 679 A.S. by a group of highly educated New Berlin University students, and have enjoyed support of much or Rheinland's liberal elite. They take the ideological high route and are not willing to compromise and bend their political ideals, attracting many purists dedicated to overthrowing the Rheinland regime.
GOALS
The Bundschuh Allianz stands against the corrupt leadership of Daumann, and Republican Shipping and their influence on the politics of Rheinland. The movement also stands against the Holstein Accords and aims to disrupt the newly appointed constitutional monarchy in lieu of pure and uncompromising social democracy. Although they recognise the amnesty Bundschuh Party of Rheinland has received in the accords, the Bundschuh Allianz is disgusted by the lack of signatories from the Bundschuh itself and see it as an empty gesture that tries buy their members and make them bend their ideals.
METHODS
The Bundschuh Allianz prefers political activism over large scale violence or even crude methods such as terrorism. Although they stand against the corporate leadership they do not blame the underpaid pilots themselves, prefering to seek willing donations for their cause and cargo acquisition over violence on common traders, even those of Daumann, Republican Shipping and Kruger. They focus on diplomacy, seeking support from various factions, and spreading of populist propaganda to influence the masses and one day be the leading political party in the social democracy they aim to
The Bundschuh look down upon the uneducated and crude Red Hessians and Unioners and their more pragmatic approach of stealing and plundering in the guise of fighting the powers that be and find their methods distasteful. This has seen the Red Hessian and Unioner ranks swell, and the Bundschuh dwindle in all but their political ranks. Nevertheless, they often look to the Hessians, Unioners and disgruntled Republican, Daumann and Kruger workers for possible recruits, so they maintain a distinct note of neutrality towards the criminal groups in the open, and can be even seen using the Red Hessian technology on occasion.
BASE OF OPERATION
Bruchsal Base in the Frankfurt System
This old Popular Revolution-era supply depot formed from a hollowed out asteroid houses many hundreds of people and stands as the political and administrative heart of the Bundshuh and Bundschuh Allianz underground.
It is used to control the Taunusfeld that surrounds it to launch raids against the authorities and skirmishes with smugglers the Bundschuh Allianz stands against.
